THE COOL NOVEMBER AIR FILLED YOUR ROOM as you laid on your bed in the middle of your room, the fairy lights hanging from the walls around you were the only light source other than the moon shining in through the window. you laid on top of the duvets and blankets, propped up on one side as the boy you loved faced you, one of his hands reaching over and tracing little, random shapes on the exposed skin of your hip. you could see the glint in his honey colored eyes, the dim lighting making them a little darker than they usually are.

the record player spun peacefully around as it sat on the dresser across from the bed, an old John Mayer record playing through the otherwise silent air. you smiled at the boy who looked amazingly comfortable, a hoodie hanging loosely around his fit figure, matching with a pair of grey joggers and black socks.

you were almost dressed the same, an old hoodie from your sophomore year of high school, a pair of leggings, and a pair of blue polka-dot fuzzy socks on your feet; your favorite pair of fuzzy socks. curls fell effortlessly across his forehead, making him look even more adorable than he already did. you were careful not to make too much noise, not wanting to wake up your sleeping parents in the next room over.

he had returned the smile you gave him, the same damned smile he had flashed at you when you first laid your eyes on him at a Halloween party during your junior year of high school. he had a half-full red solo cup in his hand, leaning against the counter in the kitchen as you made your way past him. he had caught your eye, the same honey-colored eyes you're used to seeing now, meeting yours and making your heart skip a beat. no other guy had had this effect on you, almost like he had some sort of charm to him. but, you weren't complaining about it, he was beautiful, someone you couldn't pull your eyes from because you were so lost in his beauty.

you still felt the same way two and a half years later as he laid across from you, propped up on one elbow, curls falling against his forehead. he was almost irresistible as his brown eyes stared directly into yours, making your heart jump into your throat. just by simply looking at him, your heart would speed up and the feeling of butterflies would erupt in your stomach. he was the boy you'd do anything for, the boy you would love until the end of time.

his soft, almost whisper toned, voice pulled you from your thoughts, "what're you thinking about?"

you just shrugged back at him, watching as his eyebrows furrowed, "just random stuff."

he chuckled, adjusting his position so he could see you better, "i know that 'just random stuff' isn't just random stuff with you," he reached his hand towards your face, brushing a loose strand of hair away from your face and behind your ear, "c'mon, talk to me."

you sighed, "I've just been thinking, y'know, about us.

he raised one of his eyebrows, "what about us? is something wrong?"

you shook your head quickly, "no, no, of course not," you said, letting out a sigh after. you plopped back on the plush pillows under your head before licking your lips, letting yourself continue your sentence, "it's just the fact that we leave for college in almost a week and I'm not going to be able to have these late night talks with you anymore. no more sneaking you in through my bedroom window at 10 o'clock at night, no more late night talks about nothing as we stare up at my white ceiling. it's just going to be me, alone, in a stupid dorm room-"

"without me." he finished, looking over at you as you turned to face your head towards him. you nodded, biting down on your lip as he smiled softly at you.

"trust me," he said, "you have nothing to worry about. whenever you need me, I'm just going to be one simple phone call away."

you looked up at him, "that's not the same as having you here, in my bed, with me."

"I could get you one of those body pillows and just dump a whole bottle of my cologne on it if that's what you want." he joked, letting a smile decorate his flawless face.

you smiled, shoving his shoulder while meeting his brown eyes again for the millionth time tonight. he was quick to wrap his arms around you and pull you onto his chest, looking down at you with love-filled eyes. he stroked your hair, pushing some of it away from your face.

"I love you, okay?"

you nodded softly, "I love you, too."

he smiled before reaching forward and pressing his soft lips to yours, moving them gently against yours. the kiss soon got deeper, his tongue swiping against your bottom lip, asking for entrance. his tongue slipped into your mouth as he began to flip the two of you over, making him climb between your legs, letting a quiet giggle slip past your lips. he was quick to silence your giggling as his lips pressed against yours sweetly.
