Later that afternoon, Ciel recieved another letter from the Queen. Ciel took the letters very seriously as did we all being that he was deemed the Queens guard dog, the letters were of a serious nature. Ciel read part of the letter outloud but then went silent, he motioned to Sebastian to read the letter himself. Sebastian read the letter and I could tell from his expression he was not enjoying the words written. Ciel uttered a comment to Sebastian under his breathe and left the room. Sebastian saw my concern and as he walked by he winked and whispered, "All will be fine, my kitten." I decided to try not to worry too much and I took it upon myself to make sure that Sebastian would have nothing to worry about this evening. I asked everyone if they would help me and they were all so agreeable. Finny made sure the hound had been fed and played fetch with a tree he had pulled out of the ground by its root as a stick. Bardroy helped in the kitchen but I thoroughly explained I could not put out a fire as Sebastian does and he put his explosives away. I was unsure what to make for the evening meal when Tanaka came out of his tea induced state gave me a wonderful idea. He helped with the recipe and then we heard his familiar, "Ho, ho, ho." I thanked him and we went to work preparing the meal. Mey-Rin was busying herself with setting the table again and we only lost one plate during the process. We were soon done and waiting for Ciel and Sebastian to come to dinner. We waited for thirty minutes in the kitchen and everyone was getting famished so they ate their food then started to fall asleep. I giggled at how innocent they all looked but hidden beneath that innocence there was power, grace, strength and knowledge. I placed the pie in the now darkened oven so it would not get any colder. I gently woke each of them enough so that they could retire in their beds and then I set out to check on Ciel and Sebastian.

The hallway was rather dark except for the light shining through the partially opened study door. I heard their voices but could not understand the complete context of what they were saying, I feared that I was being intrusive and rude as I grew closer to the Study. I just stepped into the light emanating from the room and Sebastian met me at the door with a devilish smile, "Yes, Miss Sara?" "I only came to inform Lord Ciel that dinner has been prepared. Everyone else has gone to bed and I can have his meal ready anytime he wishes. Thank you Sebastian and Lord Ciel. I will leave you now" I turned to step away quickly when I felt tears sting my eyes. "Why am I crying?" I thought to myself as I started the trek back to the kitchen. I did not know why I was crying, but I felt subconsciously I had a reason. I had only just begun to walk down the hallway when I felt his presence and then felt him pick me up and carry me as a groom would carry his bride, "Why is my kitten crying?" He wiped aways the stray tears and I had no answer,  "I don't know, I wish that I did." He looked concerned, "Did you hear something that upset you?" ''No, I promise it was not my intention to barge in or interrupt your discussion regarding the Queens letter. I was just trying to help and I feel that I shouldn't have interrupted the discussion just to tell you that Ciels dinner was prepared" I scoffed at myself. Sebastian stopped and his crimson eyes pierced mine, "You have no reason to apologize. You did so well and the fact of the matter is that Ciel wants your opinion on the letter soon so you did not intrude or interrupt. Before I came to you Ciel complimented your demeanor and your aptitude and asked me to speak to you on this matter soon. So do not cry my kitten, plus I have a surprise for you" as he stopped outside his bedroom door. He set me down and covered my eyes with one of his gloved hands while the other opened the door.
