Ascella's POV
I stormed into my house, Enzo at my heels.
"Ascella! Ascella, please! Can we jut talk?"
"No!" I turned to him, "That is enough talking because I don't know if all the talking you've done was just lies!"
"Ella..."
"Were you ever going to tell me?"
He sighed and looked away, "I...I don't know."
"What do you mean you don't know? You have a son! Unless you're convinced we aren't gonna last, I have every right to know!"
"Why is it such a big deal?"
"Because I am tired of people making choices and not caring how it effects me!" I paused, "If it ever comes down to me and your son. You won't have a choice because I know that's my cue to leave."
"Ascella-"
"Please, go..."
"Ella-"
"Please, Enzo! Please!"
"No! You're not telling me everything either! I want to know-"
"Why this hurts me so much?! Because I can't have that! I can't have a family like you do! If I tried it would die halfway through and I can't do anything to fix that!"
Enzo hugged me gently and sighed, "This isn't just about me..."
Once he said that I broke down. He rubbed my back gently and sat me on the couch, placing himself in front of me.
"Tell me..."
"I thought...staying here in manhattan would help me fix everything because if I had left for Boston...then I'd be running away from my problems and things would get worse. But now...everything hurts so much. I was taught I could fix things if I tried hard enough and I've tried my hardest to the point where I don't want to try anymore...i thought that if I stayed where he died or where they left, I-I would feel better but I don't. And I started to feel better with you, but knowing you have everything I can't have makes me feel so-so useless and weak and vulnerable and I hate that feeling. I feel like I can't tell my dad any of this because I don't want him to feel bad for things he didn't know about or do..."
He nodded and hugged me gently, "Okay. Okay..." he kissed me gently and leaned his forehead against mine. I sighed and got up, looking out the window.
"Do you still want me to leave?"
"Can...can you tell me about your son?"
He chuckled and nodded, "Of course."

Nick's POV
I walked into my house, finding Ascella and Enzo on the couch watching TV. She was sleeping quietly and he held her in his lap.
"Hey, Enzo."
"Hey, Mr. Amaro. I'll bring her to her room then I'll head."
He picked her up and brought her upstairs, after a few minutes he came back down. I sat and watched as he got his things, but as he went to the door, he stopped and turned to me.
"Mr. Amaro, can I talk to you about something?"
"Of course, come sit."
He did so and sighed, "um...I have a son. And an ex fiancé. Ascella just found out and she broke down today...rambling about staying here for you and Olly and Zara...don't tell her I told you this, but I think Ascella should go into therapy. Not-not meaning I think something's wrong with her! But, her coping skills and emotional state isn't healthy right now...god, I sound like an ass-"
I placed a hand on his shoulder, "You're right. The squad has noticed too and Liv said she could help and find someone Ascella would be comfortable with..." I sighed, "I made the mistake once with family and therapists, I wont make it again."
He nodded and smiled gratefully, "Thank you."
"No problem. When do you usually see your son?"
"Weekends. He's only 6 months, so my ex doesn't really want him away from her so long..."
"What made you split?"
"I honestly don't know..."
I nodded, "Yeah, I get it."

Ascella's POV
I sighed, putting on my coat and scarf. I drove to Fordham, my head somewhere else. I parked my car and made my way towards the building, but I was stopped by the same people at the party.
"Hey, Ascella."
"Hey." I looked away.
"Haven't really seen you in a bit, how are you?" One of boys, Hank, asked. I shrugged, "I'm okay, decided to only have classes Tuesday to Friday, so Mondays are an off day."
"Look, sorry about Saturday. Shouldn't have dragged you there..."
I shrugged, "It's whatever. I gotta get to class..." I walked through them to my first class.

I tapped my pen as looked through the book. A chair rolled up to me, making me turn. Hank smiled and looked at me, "Making some sick beats."
I laughed, "Wow...you really made that sound so uncool."
"What?" He grinned. I shook my head and looked back at my book.
"You're on the wrong chapter..."
"Huh?"
"You're on chapter 14...we're on chapter 16."
I planted myself into my book, "Fuck..."
"Ms. Amaro, Mr. Dulay, is there a problem?"
"No, sir." Hank replied and the professor looked away. I turned quickly to him and furrowed my brows, "Dulay? But you're not..."
"That was my younger brother."
"Oh god."
"Don't apologize. They killed your co-" he stopped, "I'm sorry. I know it's hard..."
I shook my head and laughed, "There's no point. I've got other things on my mind."
"What about you and Enzo? Is everything okay?"
"Yeah, of course. It's fine..."
"McKenzie was just irritated...and drunk. She shouldn't have said that."
"You don't have to make up excuses for her."
He looked at me, "You should go drinking with us."
"I'm underage and right now we're in a criminal law class...think that sentence over." I retorted. He laughed and we continued looking at the book. After the school day, I walked with Hank to the parking lot while Enzo waited. I got to Enzo's car and waved to Hank before getting in the car. Enzo smiled and kissed my cheek.
"I gotta swing by somewhere, okay?" I nodded and dazed off as he drove. He parked front of a house and went inside. It wasn't his house...I've been to his house. I looked around the neighborhood before the back car door opened and Enzo placed a large object in it. I stifled a gasp and Enzo shook his head, "Maya just put him to sleep and I still gotta get the diaper bag." He grinned and rushed back to the house.
"Can I meet her?"
"She has to go! Sorry!"
I laughed and sat back. There were sudden whimpers and I turned back quickly before getting in the back seat. I looked at the baby for a minute before unbuckling him and hugging him gently to my chest. I hummed gently. The door opened suddenly to see Enzo. The baby raised his head and smiled a gummy smile.

Enzo grinned and laughed, "Hi, Tanner!"He cooed and looked up at me

Enzo grinned and laughed, "Hi, Tanner!"
He cooed and looked up at me.
"Careful, he tugs on hair."
I smiled and shook my head, my hair getting in his face causing him to laugh. I laughed along and fixed my hair before putting him back in his car seat.
"Just stay back there with him." Enzo closed my door and got in the driver's seat. We drove and I rubbed Tanner's cheek, watching him doze off with a giraffe pacifier in his mouth. We stopped and I looked to see my house.
"Do you wanna bring the carrier?"
"No, it's okay. Just take him out and put his blanket around him."
I nodded and did so, walking up to my door. Enzo locked his car and got the keys from my pocket before opening the door. I laid Tanner down and surrounded him in pillows, then I sat next to the couch, watching him sleep. It felt like hours but it was only minutes before Enzo broke my trance by handing me a mug. I nodded gratefully and looked back at Tanner. A chuckle omitted from Enzo, making me look at him.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"What?" I pushed, a smile reaching my lips. He kissed them gently, "You just look so pretty. So perfect...complete." He glanced back at Tanner and sighed. I drank from my mug before speaking up, "I remember when my sister was first born...a summer baby. I loved her to death..."
Enzo nodded, "You basically helped raise her since your dad was undercover a lot and Maria was deployed..."
I nodded, "Yeah."
"You'll make a good mom one day, Ascella..."
"You're a great dad right now, Enzo..."
"Let's hope it stays that way."
