The next match was shizue vs shino. The two competitors calmly strolled down to the arena. After they had arrived to their respective positions the proctor prepared to start the match. Shino got into a basic defensive stance, while shizue placed herself in a offensive stance. As soon as the proctor started the match, shizue sped to shino and started barraging him with many punches and kicks. Since shizue was so focused on attacking shino she didn't notice him releasing his kikaichu. After about a minute shino was able to escape shizue and start forming a jutsu. Just as shizue started approaching him he called out doton: tobi tsubute no jutsu, sending a wave of stones flying at shizue. As shizue flipped away shino sent his kikaichu too surround shizue completely.they managed to stay for five minutes. After shizue shook them off she started to form the seals for suiton: suiben. As she finished the seals and tried to form the whip, she realized she was drained of chakra, as she had already spent a lot of energy physically she started throwing tons of senbon towards shino. In response shino performed doton: Daichi gansho. Shizue was trapped between the two walls and the proctor awarded shino the match. Shino released the jutsu and went to shizue. He extended a hand to help her up. She grabbed it and he helped her get too her squad-mates. Kaito said "thank you shino." he nodded in return. As he turned to walk away shizue spoke for the first time after the battle, "thank you shino, you are truly an honorable and worthy opponent."she then walked up to him and kissed his cheek. You could just see his face go tomato red behind the collar of his jacket.
