Jim's POV:

My mom stood up on her toes and ruffles my hair causing it to become more messy.

"Mom," I said looking at her pleadingly. "You know I don't like that."

It's been one month since we finished re-building Arcadia. The only place that needs to be finished is the museum which Toby, some random citizens, and I are going to finish tonight. We also ended my father's threat to resurrect Gunmar. He almost succeeded... almost... He is currently serving his time in prison.

"Have you grown taller?" She asked.

"No... I don't think..." I started.

"Because you look a lot taller," She interrupted. It has also been a month since I revealed my identity to the whole city. Which they actually took pretty well. Everyone has accepted my new form... including me. We have moved on. They acted like I wasn't even a troll in the first place. Which it was nice.

"No I don't," I lied. Maybe I have grown, plus being six three is super tall...

"Well have fun. And stay safe," she warned. I grinned.

"Mom, I make no promises." She hugged me.

"Bye honey."

Toby and I were at the museum. Ten people were there already gathering the broken bricks and repairing shingles on the roof.

"Hey Jim," I jumped when a hand touched my shoulder. The mayor, Ophelia her husband, Havia (also Claire's parents) were behind me. I didn't know why, but lately I have been really jumpy after the fight with my own dad. I turned around. As did Toby.

"Hey Jim. How are you?" Ophelia asked. She held out her hand and and I shook it with my hand that has the armour over it.

"I have been good. A lot less stressed," I replied. She smiled and nodded.

"They need you over there. There are rocks that humans aren't capable to move with bare hands."

I nodded and made my way over there. There were only three cement blocks.

I knew they just needed them out of the way to replace the huge dent in the wall. I lifted the cement up. It was super heavy, but I acted like it wasn't heavy even though my muscles burned. When I finished placing the cement out of the way, I met up with Toby whom was gathering all of the bricks.

"Hey Tobes," I said.

"Hey Jimbo! Just finishing up here..." I smiled and began to help Toby.

Soon enough the building will be as good as new. And after that, maybe... Just maybe everything can continue as normal. Like the war never happened. And the non stop chatting about the existence of trolls will soon die down.
