Christmas Special (Part 1):

I-I couldn't believe it. It's been forever since I have seen my grandparents. I wanted to run up to them and hug them. But lucky me, (said sarcastically) they would flip out.

Okay so maybe they don't live in Arcadia... they live miles and miles from here. Oh boy... it seemed like my mom was trying to hold them back for a while.

"Hey um Tobes?" I asked.

I didn't want Christmas to be ruined because of a stupid fight. He glanced at me.

"Look..." I said, "I'm sorry. And this time I really do mean it. I-I understand why you're angry. And I don't blame you. But..."

I was interrupted by Toby standing up and... hugging me? That was the last thing I expected.

"It's okay Jimbo. I'm sorry for overreacting." I smiled as me and Tobes separated.

"Friends right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Friends."

That's when I heard a scream. I looked up, frightened to see my grandma and grandpa and my mom trying to calm them.

"Oh boy," I said.

"WHAT IS TH-" my mom cut them off.

"Woah! It's okay. Calm down!" She yelled.

My grandma looked like she was about to faint. And my grandpa was also trying not to freak.

"Do I really look that bad?" I asked Claire. She shook her head.

"No. But to them... they have never seen a troll before... sooo... yeah."

"Yeah as in I do look that bad?"

She looked at me pleadingly.
"No. I think you look great," she said happily.

"Someone explain what is going on right now before I call animal control!"

Toby, Claire and I laughed.

"That's funny. Real funny," Toby cried out.

I knew what we where laughing at... I have been tranquilized by my own dad. I could easily take down animal control. When we wiped our tears from laughing, I spoke up.

"Grandma, grandpa, I am Jim Lake Jr."

And boy you should have seen their faces when I told them I was there grandson.
