Steven's POV:
(Written by @Kodbro)
It was time to get my friend out of here. Tell me what you see, a voice said to me in my mind.
Morgouse.
"Well, I'm in the Prison. And I know which number and section Lake is being kept in," I said.
Good, my Champion. Now let me see through yours eyes. We need the Trollhunter on our side.
The next thing I knew, it was Morgouse that was controlling my every movement. That had been the deal. I would lead her to the Trollhunter, and she would help me get him out with her magic.
"Not much further," I said. Turning various corners of Arcadia's prison until I came to the one I recognised from the screens. "There."
Excellent, she said. Then we walked down. We eventually reached my friend's cell.
I thrust out my hand at it. "Open," I said in a language that I had never heard of before.
The door sprang open and then I was looking at James who looked back at me from his bed as soon as I did. "It's time, brother," I said. "You have your amulet?"
"For the glory of Merlin, Daylight is mine to command," he said, his transformation answering it for me.
He will be our Dark Champion, Morgouse hissed in my head.
"Oh no," I said. "Someone is coming."
It was the security force of Arcadia that I was talking about when we all heard the running footsteps of the guards hurrying after us.
"Like they will stand a chance against us," James said while taking out Daylight.
As for me, I only had my hands which were for now gifted with Morgouse's magic to help us get out of here.
"FREEZE. Stay where you are. Do not move... what the...?" Officer Scott said when he saw us standing there armed. His partner held out his gun at us next to him.
"Don't believe you will be able to capture us after what Arcadia has been through," James negotiated. Out of all the things he could do right then.
"Really James?" I hissed.
However, "Why don't we make a deal? Just let us go. And you won't be harmed."
This was the last thing I expected from him. What is he doing? Morgouse hissed furiously. He's wasting time we don't have.
"James," I said.
But then Officer Scott and his comrades in arms began firing away at us. James dashed after them with Daylight, deflecting the bullets with it as he did.
Then before any fatal damage could be done, I let Morgouse use her magic to get us out of here in a flash of white. When we portalled to her home, I noticed how confused James looked with Daylight still raised above him. Ready to strike down when in need.
"James Lake Senior!" A loud, strong voice announced from the Throne of Skulls in front of us. "The Trollhunter. It brings me great pleasure to finally meet you and welcome you onto our side with open arms."
"Morgouse," James said, turning to face her, still in his armour. "The honour is all mine."
We were in Gunmar's fortress, known as the Janus Order to the Impure which was identified by the Skull Throne of Gunmar's that Morgouse was now sitting upon.
I suddenly noticed how James was kneeling before her. Respectful, I thought.
"Arise, my Dark Champion. Since your son could not be that for Gunmar. Let you be that for me. And when you have avenged my sister, you shall be rewarded," she said.
She had already won me over to her side. Now it was just James.
"You know what to do," she said.
