Jim's POV:
(Written by @Mad_Be_Green)
The room was dead silent after Strickler explained who Morgouse is. Worse then Morgana herself. She just had to have a sister. And she is hungry for my death. Why? Why does this happen to us? I just want to have one good day. Just one day!
"W-we can stop her right?" Mary asked.
I almost fell over. My mom put her hand on my shoulder, probably noticing how terrified I was. I nearly died of Morgana and James once. Now... now I don't have the fifty fifty percent chance of living. It's three percent to one hundred.
"I-I don't know." I forced myself to say.
"Oh my..." Claire said as silent as she could.
But since the room was so quiet it seemed to echo around the whole house. "We don't even know anything about her. We don't know where she is at. What she is planning. When she is going to come," Toby said.
"Yeah gee thanks. Thanks for helping," I said as sarcasticly as I could. We glared at each other, but this time it was harsh... really really harsh.
"What is wrong with you two?!" My mom yelled.
Toby shot up from his chair and began to storm out of the house. She put her hands on her hips. I rolled my eyes.
"If you're expecting an answer, then I am not going to tell you anything." I turned to face everyone else who was staring at me.
"What?" I yelled "So something happened. So what?! We have bigger problems!"
Steve cleared his throat and shifted in his seat, a little frightened from my tone of voice. This might just be the most awkward day of my life.
"Well we don't have a lead. The police said that he and the other two just vanished in light leaving no trace," Stickler said. That's good.
"Maybe Angor saw something?" Darcy suggested.
"No, he was found by James's cell out cold." Everyone groaned.
"Guys we can't give up." I tried to sound as confident as I could. "There must be a book or something about Morgouse. Because wouldn't she be apart of the Eternal Night? She must've been somewhere. Or she was trapped."
Then it dawned on me. "The Eternal Night was maybe... maybe .... just a distraction."
"WHAT?!" everyone said at the same time.
"Think about it. She wasn't there with her sister for the Eternal Night, so what if this was all a hoax for us to keep us from seeing the real picture? Which was someone or... Steve's dad... was freeing her."
"Young Atlas, I think you're onto something!" Strickler praised.
"I would have never guessed that," Claire said.
"Exactly Claire that was the point. She needed a way to free her sister without us finding out," I said. Then continued, "Or maybe the eternal night really was to get rid of humans and to have trolls rule the service lands once more, so when Morgouse was out and freed from her prison as well as Morgana, then together they could be unstoppable."
"Dang, they thought of everything," Eli said.
"And we fell for it," I replied. "And now I'm afraid it's going to be too late before we can make a plan."
