James's POV:
(Written by @Kodbro)

That wretched son of mine. When here, just as I thought I had him on my side, I never really did. He had tricked me. And for that, he was going to pay.

Suddenly a guard came to my barred door, Officer Scott, if I didn't know any better and unlocked it before releasing me. "Well well well. James Lake Senior. If it isn't Jim's father. You have a visitor," he said.

A visitor, I thought. Who? Surely Jim wouldn't come to visit me after all that had happened between us.

My question was soon answered when I sat down on my side of the glass that separated me from... "Steven?" I asked into the phone once I had picked it up.

He smiled at me. "My old friend," he said. "You haven't aged a day."

I didn't feel like returning the friendliness. "Let's just get on with it then," I said. Not interested in making small chitchat. There could only be one reason why he was here.

"Well, I heard from a bird who told me what Arcadia Oaks has recently been through. A battle with Gunmar and Morgana. The two deadliest trolls to ever walk the earth," he explained.

"Resume," I said.

"Morgouse," he said. "She's the one who has been behind all of this."

"Who? Morgana's sister?" I asked.

He just smiled which answered it all. "And now that she knows what your son and his friends have done to her, she is on to all of you. Except..."

"Except what?" I asked.

"Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but apart from Eclipse, I've heard that you're the new Trollhunter? Morgouse is willing to help you get out of here only on one condition," he explained. "Only if you agree to side with her and destroy your son. As he is right, James. There can only be one Trollhunter."

He began to grin which made me grin in return. "You are right about one thing. I do still have Daylight. Even after Merlin ripped it off me. That horid Wizard. I must say though. You never cease to amaze me, Palchuck. And after all these years..."

"Here I am," he said. "Just think of it. Morgouse. A powerful sorceress. Even more powerful than Morgana. Your son and his pesky friends won't be able to stand a chance against her. Morgana was weak. And let her guard down. That's why she is not here anymore. What do you say then?"

Oh, I was in all right.
It was time to get out of here.
