Steve's POV:
(Written by @Kodbro)

"I always knew that abomination of a father was never good news," I said as Jim and I walked out in broad daylight to my house that afternoon.

And he was right. His dream sounded weird. Too weird for my liking. And here I thought nothing could get weirder after those Creepers... oh Aja. My mind suddenly drifted off to her for some reason. Unlike everyone else, I knew she and her brother are Aliens.

Oh how very wrong I was about them which made me think, I should stop judging a book by its cover. Haven't I learned that by now? Especially after Jim and what I've done to him to make his life miserable at school? To be fair, I didn't know about Trolls back then. Could you blame me?

Now the Jim that was walking next to me didn't even look like the Jim I knew anymore. "That makes one of us," Jim said.

I glanced over at him as we walked. "I'm sorry," I said.

"For what?" He asked, frowning at me.

"For everything. For being the jerk that I was. If I had only known what you were going through... I don't know why I did it. Maybe it's a side effect of my father leaving me and my mother. Unlike you, he never once showed any sign that he cared for me. And now that we know that he's working with your father to help Morgouse take back the world-"

"Hey. I get it, Steve. I'm sorry too, and if it makes you feel any better, I don't like my father either. Ever since he left us too," Jim said genuinely.

His words made me smile. "I guess we have more in common than we would like," I said.

"I guess we do," he said. His red armour glowing brightly and literally lighting the way for us.

Next thing I knew, we were here. And so was my mom's car which meant that she was home. If she knows anything about my dad working with James... "Whoa. Steve, what are you doing?" Jim suddenly asked, pulling me back into the shadows.

I pulled my arm back in frustration. "What are you doing?" I hissed back.

"Well, we can't just barge in their unannounced. We need a plan. If your mom sees me like this she will freak-"

"Unless she already knows something about Trolls. And besides, haven't you revealed yourself to the whole of Arcadia already and who you are?" I asked.

He thought for a minute. "Point taken. But never mind that. While we may have a lead right now, don't forget that your mom could be threatened not to tell you anything. Yes, my grandpa may be tracing James's location down. We just need to approach this the right way. Because that's all we have. If your mom knows anything about James and Steven helping Morgouse... we don't have the time to screw this up."

Wow. That was quiet a speech he made there. He had put me in awe for a few seconds until I said, "Okay fine. Then what's your plan?"

He smiled.

The plan was set. While I was going to walk inside as if I had just got back home from school, Jim would keep guard outside and get ready to come in on the first sign of danger.

Before though I suddenly remembered how Coach Lawrence lived with us. Out of forgetfulness, I placed my hand on my head and groaned.

"What?" Jim asked.

"Coach Lawrence. I almost forgot. How am I supposed to interrogate my mom with him in the house?"

"Well, like you said, Steve. What difference will it make considering the fact that the whole of Arcadia knows about the existence of Trolls?" Jim said.
