Jim's Grandpa's POV:
(Written by @Kodbro)

Well, finding out that our grandson was something known as the Trollhunter couldn't be worse than seeing him as a troll. It's just something that neither of us expected. Especially tonight on Christmas Eve when we flew down to Arcadia especially to surprise Jim and his mom. Our daughter.

"But why...?" Prudence asked after that unexpected battle of fairies.

"So wait," I said. "Now there's also Fairies?"

"And Aliens. The occasional Nomes, pixies and Goblins," the chubby kid explained. "You get used to it."

"Oh goodness," I heard myself say of the overwhelming discovery of this whole other world.

"Dad?" Barbara asked me suddenly. Then she took my hand and sat me down at the kitchen counter. "Are you okay? I know it's difficult... seeing Jim like this."

She took a sideways glance at Jim when she said that. He smiled back at her in which I assumed was encouragement. "But this is Jim's life now. And whether we like it or not, we all have to accept it," she said.

"Thanks mom," Jim said.

I had calmed down. I had. And so had my wife, Prudence when I looked at her next to me. Then just as I was about to reply, the front door burst open and in came a bigger and taller... was that another Troll?

"Trollhunter," the troll spoke in its loud and gruff voice, no a doubt talking to Jim.

Prudence screamed and wrapped her arms around me. I held her back.

"Angor," Jim said. "What's happening? Is everything okay-"

"Morgouse. She's on to you, Jim-"

"But she doesn't even know where we are," the blackhaired girl, Claire protested.

"Who is Morgouse now?" I asked.

"An evil Sorceress," the troll that Jim had named Angor said. "Sister to Morgana. We need to get to Trollmarket, Jim. Before its too late. Merlin can help us when we get there."

"But we already have a plan to find where Morgouse and James are," Jim said where by this point, my head was whipping back and forth between the two trolls like it was watching a tennis match.

Then Jim looked at me. "Grandpa, you said you could retrace the signal right?"

I nodded, not knowing that I was when I did. "Like I said. I can try," I said.

"Then come on," Jim said. "We've got Trollhunting to do. It's now or never. Morgouse might be strong. But we will show her where her place is. With her sister."
