Chapte 13

Maaga pa lang ay nasa Angel's center na ako, kailangan kong maibaling sa ibang bagay ang mga bumabagabag sa isip ko, lalo na sa mga nangyari kagabi. Hindi ko maiwasan na hindi isipin si Edward.

"Hi Maddie, Hannah's yaya just called, she requested if you can reschedule her as your last student today," Miss Tiny informed me.

"That would be fine, Ms. Tiny." I said.

"Please adjust your things to do, and please submit some of their anecdotes later," she said.

"Sure, I will."

While waiting for my first student, hinanda ko ang mga reports na kailangan ni Ms. Tiny, especially the anecdotal reports.

I have finished them nang dumating si Louis. With same procedure of teaching, naturuan ko siya sa kanyang assignments and we reviewed a bit.

I only have two student today Louis and Hannah, after lunch I still have enough time para ireview ang mga reports na isusubmit ko kay Ms. Tiny, gusto ko na maayos ang report ko para wala naman siyang masabi. Suddenly narinug king tumutunog ang cellphone, kinuha ko ito sa loob ng bag ko ang check the caller ID, nabigla pa ako nang makita ko ang pangalan ni Jonah.

"Hi Maddie!" he said

"Hi!"

"How are you? Matagal na tayong hindi nagdi-dinner ha, so pwede ba kitang yayain mamaya?" he asked.

Hindi na ako nagdalawang isip, "Sure,"

"I'll pick you then later after your work," he said.

"Okay, see you."

"Bye," he said. Nawala na si Jonah sa linya.

Hindi ko pwedeng tanggihan si Jonah dahil hanggang ngayon ay nagi-guilty pa rin ako sa pagreject ko sa kanya. But well hindi rin siya tumitigil.

Biglang may nagbukas ng pinto, nakita ko ang isang masayang bata na tumatakbo papalapit sa akin.

She hugged me, " Hi Hannah! Glad too see you."

"Hi teacher Maddie!" napakagandang bata.

May nilabas siya sa kanyang bag, nakabalot pa ito sa gift wrap, "I have something for you," she gave me the wrapped box.

"Oh, so sweet...And what's the occasion my dear," kinuha ko yong binigay niyang pahabang maliit na box.

"Teacher, my mom said, you can give gift to anyone even itf there'sno occasion," she explained. Napahiya ako sa sarili ko nung marealized ko that she is right.

"Just like you teacher, you always give me something even if it's not my birthday" she continued na para bang isang matandang nakikipag-usap sa ka-age niya.

"You are so really smart, " I pinched her nose.

"My kuya said I have to give you something in return, I always tell him something about you, that's why he personally chose that." ganado siyang magkwento.

"Oh, really, please tell him I said Hi and thank you for this." I said while I am starting to open the box. Bigla akong huminto sa pagbukas.

"Can I open it?" I asked her. She nodded.

I opened the small box, and I was surprised when I see a very beautiful Mickey Mouse Pen, I hugged her. "Wow, it's so cute, I like it."

"My kuya and I liked it too." she smiled.

For the last time i hugged her again showing my appreciation. "I wish I could see him," I said. Nag-smile lang siya.

"So shall we start?" pumwesto na kami sa table and started the lesson, after an hour ay natapos ko na siyang turuan.
