"I just get inspired by other people's lives," I lied, "I imagine myself in their shoes and attempt to write songs from their perspective." I couldn't let him find out that each and every song in my precious book were all based on my own life. He wouldn't understand what I've been through, what I still went through. I had avoided for as long as I could from falling deep into depression but there were other secrets that captured my soul. It had always felt like this part of me would always be there and would never let me feel true happiness.

"Right.." He sounded unconvinced, glancing at me from the side. We still had hold of each other. It surprised me though because I would've expected him to be straight although even if he was gay he wouldn't fall for me so I stopped thinking about it because it felt nice, just nice to feel his hand gently clasped around mine. He sighed, trying to forget that he wanted to know what my lyrics were all about. "Follow me."

We carried on walking down the path, silently enjoying each other's company. I found it strange how comfortable we were around each other because we had only started talking a couple days back when he decided to get back my book for me. I couldn't get my head around why he was so intrigued by it. I admired the huge trees either side of us, decorated by beautiful pastel pink blossom. It was like a scene from a movie which created a small feeling erupting inside of me but I didn't know what it was or why I felt it. The large petals gracefully, almost as if in slow motion, drifted down towards the flower covered ground occasionally landing on us. By this time the sun had began to set, making a gorgeous scene. One that you could never in a million years recreate and I felt even more blessed to be there at that moment. He gently nudged my shoulder, tilting his head towards a different direction which I moved towards. We came across a wall of trees which appeared bigger than the ones filing along us a minute ago. He stepped on patches of grass trying to avert from stepping on any mud as he got closer to the trees. I copied his movements and gaped in awe when he slowly moved a large branch that was hanging low to ground to his right and made space for me to walk through to the other side of the wall of trees.

We were stood in an empty field with a single tree in the middle, with a thick, sturdy trunk. The flowers that had grown on it were with out a doubt the most beautiful I had ever seen. I peered up and a small tree house caught my attention. It looked old, maybe ten years old or even slightly older. Kellin began running towards it and I ran but my legs couldn't carry me anywhere near as fast as his could. For a moment I paused and just watched him, he looked like a kid who wanted to quickly get to a toy he desperately wanted in a shop window. Kellin wasn't exactly very tall but yet he was still taller than I was. It made me relieved for some unknown reason. His raven hair blew back as he darted towards the tree. He looked over his shoulder to see if I was behind him or not and I had to quickly pick up my pace again to make it seem as if I had never even stopped. Eventually I got to the bottom of the tree, about thirty seconds after he did. He pointed to a ladder, leading up to the tree house. I was meant to climb that? God help me because my athletic skills were worse than rubbish because they didn't even exist.

"Up you go then." He teased. I could tell he knew just how nervous I was about climbing it, he also knew that I would do it but it would just take a while. How I knew he understood that about me I don't know.

"Just go, I'll be right behind you. I promise to catch you if you fall. I know you won't anyway but I'm here. Trust me." I immediately believed his words and nodded. In an instant my mind had given up on keeping me sane. For years I've had trust issues, haven't ever been able to open up to anyone apart from Jenna and yet he just appears and I've completely forgotten about all my problems.

I placed my hand on the first rung and hauled myself up. I continued to climb and eventually he was right behind me, his hand always on the same rung as my foot. What he said about me not falling wasn't true because before I even realised where my left foot was going I was slipping almost loosing balance entirely. I felt his hand grip my hip keeping my in place. The touch sent an unknown sensation through me but I ignored it.
