All I asked was to be loved,
but apparently that's an impossible task.
I asked for affection,
but apparently consuming poison is much better.
I asked for a minute of your time,
but apparently you don't have any.
I try to give you love,
but it's unwanted.
I try to show you affection,
but it gets turned down.
I try to give you my heart,
but you threw it away.
