Never Escape

I feel awake but unconscious,

feeling pain from my head down to my toes.

My feeling felt impossible to open,

feeling as if they were glued shut.

Once they finally opened they search throughout the room,

pitch black and cold with that one light bulb in the middle of the

room.

What looked to be the only way out of here,

a heavy metal door creaked open.

In walked a man holding what looked like a weapon,

you could see the sharp shiny blade glisten in the moonlight

peaking through the small hole in the wall

Every step the man takes,

the faster my heart races and the louder my screams.

Closer, closer, closer

Until my screams are silenced by the sound of metal

slicing through flesh and blood.
