'Too dark'
'Ugly'
'Fat'
'Black ass'
Words that cut deeper than a knife.
Can you believe it?
I'm being judged for based on my skin color.
You would think I'd be called;
Chocolate,
Beautiful,
Melanin Goddess,
or even thick.
But nah,
they just hatin' on me.
Just because I'm black I'm apparently not human.
But I know I am in every single way.
Their words can't bring me down.
Always tell yourself that you're beautiful
just the way you are.
