I blinked in surprise when hands landed on my chest and a body pressed into mine. The small fairy was now a small person. He was straddling me and looked as if he was about to cry. His hair covered parts of his face and fell to the ground around us.
"You are quite pretty," I said, letting my hands fall onto his lower back. He shivered at my touch. I smirked and pulled him against my chest.
"What's your name?" I questioned. I picked up a piece of his long, red hair and twirled it around my fingers.
"Wild," He whispered.
"Intreiging," I mumbled, dropping the piece of hair in favor of another.
"Are you going to hurt me?" Wild asked, fear evident in his voice. I looked down at the top of his head and frowned. I could easily hurt him, easily kill him but I wouldn't. He was too cute.
"No. Let's sleep," I said, gently rolling him to the side so I could move. I grabbed the silk cloth off the ground where I had dropped it and carried it over near the fire. I slid my long jacket off my shoulders to use as a pillow and laid down. My half closed eyes watched Wilds trembling form. He had curled back in on himself.
"Come here," I coaxed, holding up the makeshift blanket. Wild looked unsure but after a glare from me, he quickly crawled over. I averted my gaze out of respect this time and let the cloth fall over his bare skin. I hooked an arm around him and pulled him once again into my chest. Wild clutched my shirt but made no other moves.
"This is a very expensive fabric," Wilds soft voice commented.
"I don't care about it," I said. I let my eyes close and made sure Wild was secure against my much larger frame before drifting off.

I groaned as soon as I woke up. I was feeling the effects of sleeping on the hard ground and it wasn't pleasant. I opened my eyes and took a few moments to let them adjust to the sunlight.
It was still early morning. Good.
I looked to my side to find Wild exactly where I had put him. His hands still held wads of my shirt but his fearful face was now gone. He simply looked content. I had to admit he was beautiful. I reached a hand up and let it tangle into his hair. Wilds eyes shot open at the touch.
A small whimper escaped from his lips causing me to sigh and untangle my hand. I sat up, exposing myself and Wild to the cold morning. As I stood, Wild quickly pulled the cloth up to him to cover himself. I rolled my eyes and went over to my bag to pull out something to eat.
"Aren't you fairies good a making clothing? You can use that," I said as I grabbed a bag of dried meat. Wilds eyes drifted down to the green cloth.
"Really?" He asked with a hopeful tone. I nodded my head yes instead of speaking. My mouth was already full. Wild began to stand up but he quickly blushed and looked back at me.
"Use my coat to cover yourself," I said noticing his problem. He smiled, thanked me, and pulled on my black coat. It swallowed him up but did its job. Wild stood with the cloth and held it up in his hands. It began to float up and was held in the air by Wilds magic.
My eyebrows shot up when a mannequin the exact size of Wild appeared. It was made from the same red glowing magic that held the cloth. I watched in wonder as the cloth took off and began separating and connecting. In seconds it was a perfect outfit for him. The clone disappeared and the outfit dropped into Wilds arms.
I couldn't help but notice the large smile that spread across his face as he looked at his work. He rushed behind a large tree, making me panic, but I calmed down when I realized that I could still hear him. He was only changing. Wild walked out from behind the tree and my eyebrows shot up. He looked pretty damn good.
The outfit looked like a regular light green shirt but the back was open where his wings would show. The pants were a darker green and hugged in all the right places. He even had enough fabric left to make a bit of protection for his feet. Wild walked over to me and handed me my coat. I stood and slipped it on, standing in front of him. He smiled up at me warily while I simply looked down at him with what I was sure an unreadable expression.
"Follow me," I ordered. I grabbed my bag, covered the fire, and started in the direction of the nearest town. Wild quickly caught up with me and almost had to jog to keep up with my strides.
"Where do you live?" I asked, glancing down at him. He looked nervous and extremely tired. It probably wasn't helping that he was having to walk this fast.
"The King of Fairies Forest." He whispered.
"You're a long way from home," I admitted, stopping in my tracks. We were on the complete other side of Vespear.
"Am I?" Wild asked, looking up at me quickly. "I had no sense of where I went when I was captured."
Wild looked down and raked his fingers through his hair. I sighed when I heard a small sniffle. When his shoulders began to shake, I pulled him into my arms. I was not an emotional person. I didn't know why this fairy was making me feel anything, even if it was only pity.
"I'll help you get home," I said, running a hand through his soft hair.
"I can't let you do that. You've already done so much," Wild said. He took a step away from me and tried his best to wipe his eyes of the remaining tears.
"Let's just say you owe me two favors. They can be redeemed along the way," I offered. Those favors definitely could come in handy. Wild looked down again, seeming to be in thought.
"If we're going to be traveling together, I guess I should learn your name," Wild said, looking up with a smile. Against my better judgement, I gave him a smile back. I haven't smiled in such a long time, it felt weird.
"Zypher. My name is Zypher."
