"Don't be a little shit, Finch. Come here," I growled at the little red-head, not registering my words until multiple gasps were released. Wild whipped around and stared down at the newest addition to our family.
I glanced up at Dion and Stormy, both holding the same worried expression as me. Dion was slowly inching away from Wild who was now glaring daggers at my face.
"I'm sorry, Sunshine. It just slipped out," I apologized, watching Finch grab a toy off the ground and bring it to Stormy. He was oblivious to the tension the rest of us felt.
Wild glared harder and turned back around to the cooking pot holding our dinner. I let out a sigh, glad Finch hadn't decided to pick up on the word.
"Shit!"
The spoon Wild had just picked up dropped to the floor.
"Shit!"
My shoulders tensed up, readying myself for an attack.
"Shit!"
Dion made a run for it.
"Zypher!" Wild screamed, "Fix this!"
I nodded quickly, scooping Finch off of Stormys lap. Stormy took off as soon as he was free, leaving me with my angry fairy.
"Finch, you can't say that word. It's a bad word," I explained. Finchs green eyes blinked up at me.
"But dad say it first," Finch said, his face contorting into confusion.
"I said it on accident. That word makes Mommy really unhappy and we don't want to make him sad, right?"
"No!" Finch yelled, frantically turning to look at Wild.
"Good, so you won't say it again?" I questioned, wanting to make sure he truly understood.
"Never!" Finch yelled. I smiled at his determination to be good.
"Good boy, you can go play now," I said, letting the wiggling boy down. He immediately ran off to find one of his brothers to bother.
"Watch your mouth," Wild ordered, stopping beside me to watch our son climb the stairs while simultaneously pinching my butt. Hard.
"Hey!" I exclaimed, stepping away before laughing. "Watch your hands."
Wild flipped his hair and walked back to the kitchen, ignoring me completely.
