I got out of bed and sighed. I really don't want to go to training right now. My dad had scheduled a martial arts instructor to teach me how to 'protect myself'. His name was Richard.
"Alrighty then let's get started." Richard exclaimed excitedly.
I just rolled my eyes and stood in my special stance.
By the time we had finished it was already 3:00pm and I was really tired. I walked up to my room and took a shower.
When I was done Abigail texted me asking if I wanted to go out, I groaned and said yes knowing that she wouldn't take no for an answer.
I got dressed in a mustard flannel, a white crop top and some black jeans.
I drive over to Starbucks, where Abi told me too meet her. I walk in and find her sitting on a chair in the back wearing a red sweater with bell sleeves, ripped blue jeans and some black and white Adidas. I sit in the chair opposite her and smile.
"Hey." I say.
"Yo!" She beams.
"Don't ever say that again." I say sternly.
A couple of moments pass and we just stare at each other but then end up laughing.
"Hello? Are you two ladies ready to order?" A familiar voice asks.
"Daniel!" I smile turning to face him.
"Hey." He smiles back.
"How are you?" I ask.
"I'm fine but, if anything, I should be asking you that question." He laughs.
"I'm great!" I beam.
"Good, so what you getting?" He asks.
"I'll get the Java chip Frappuccino and a red velvet cupcake, please." Abigail answers.
"Can I have a peppermint mocha Frappuccino and a slice of banana bread." I smile.
"I'll be right back!" Daniel winks.
A couple of minutes later Abigail and I get our drinks and are laughing about something when Abigail suddenly stops.
