•••I stand in front of the hollow oak tree and lean my back against it. I see my sister walk past me and I stretch my hand out to touch her but I go straight through her. She shivers and stands still for a moment before walking away.
A tear slips down my face and my breath hitches in my throat. She can't see me. She walks over to my headstone and leans her head against it.
"I miss you." She whispers.
"I miss you too."
She jumps and looks around but still doesn't see me.
"Tyler is that you?" She asks, petrified.
"Yes it's me. Don't be scared. Please."
"I-I-I'm not scared." She lies.
"Yes you are, you're scared of me."
She runs a hand through her hair and sighs. "I'm trying not to be but how would you feel if your dead brother started talking to you."
"..."
"Exactly!" She huffs.
"I liked that speech you made, very touching."
"Are you mocking me?" She asks.
"What? No!... did I ever tell you that I had a massive crush on Alexus?"
"No, but I knew."
"How?"
"Tyler, I'm your sister. Its my job to know these things." She laughs.
"Oh... before I... died... I started developing feelings for Ava."
"Ava is a really nice girl." She smiles.
"How is she?"
"She misses you."Abigail whispers.
"I miss her too."
Two people walk up to us and I turn around in fear but I quickly realise that they can't see me.
"Abi? Who you talking to?" Alexus asks.
Abigail shifts nervously and coughs before speaking. "I'm talking to Tyler."
"Riight. And what did Tyler say?" Zach asks.
"Nothing much. He told me that he misses me." She smiles.
I smile at her and she looks around for a while and sighs.
Then I was gone.
