"Abi?"

No answer.

"Abigail?"

Still no answer.

"Abigail Victoria Anne Simmons!?"

Once again, no answer.

"You can't ignore me forever. It's been days since you last ate a proper meal, you've been living off pop tarts and Gatorade. Also, your mom wants to talk about the funeral." I say.

"Green." Abigail mumbles.

"What?"

"Green. The theme is green. He loved green." She whispers.

I nod my head in understanding and leave the room. Jack, Zach, Sydnie, Ava and Daniel are all huddled in the Simmons household. Once I get downstairs everyone turned to look at me.

"Is she okay?" Mrs Simmons asks.

"No, but she will be. Eventually." I sigh.

"Has she said anything?" Mr Simmons asks.

"She wants the theme to be green because it was Tyler's favourite colour." I explain.

The two adults nod their heads before rushing off somewhere.

"Can I try and talk to her?" Jack asks.

"Go ahead and shoot your shot but can I ask you something first?" I question.

"Sure." He smiles.

"Do you care about her?" I ask.

"Of course." He says.

"Do you love her?" I smile.

"I- *ahem* Yes. Yes I do." He stutters.

I smile at him and nod my head, signalling that he can go ahead and talk to her.

"I miss him." Ava sighs.

"Me too." I smile.

"He left as soon as I started to develop feelings for him." Ava mumbles.

"You liked him?" Sydnie asks.

"Well yeah." Ava answers.

"I didn't even know the little guy that well." Zach states.

"Me either." Daniel agrees.

"Since when were you two friends?" Sydnie asks.

"Since I found out that this big ape is dating my best friend." Daniel laughs half heartedly.

"Hmph." Zach grunts causing the rest of us to laugh.

A series of footsteps cascade down the staircase and we all turn our heads to look. Abigail and Jack come down the stairs a faint smile on her face.

"Abi, you okay?" I ask, hugging my best friend.

"He's dead." She states.

"I know." I say.

"But Jack's here." She explains.

"Hmm?" I question.

"Jack's helping me. Jack's nice." She smiles.

I look over at Jack who gives sends me a slight shrug and mouthes 'she's a bit out of it'. I nod my head and look at the others who just send me confused looks.

"Well, do you want to get something to eat?" I ask Abi.

"Sure." She mumbles, walking towards the door.

"Do you want to change or something?" I ask nervously.

She looks down at her stained sweats and shakes her head. "No."
