I look up from my hands to see Abigail walk out of Tyler's hospital room blurry eyed. She runs towards her parents and I slip into Tyler's room.
"Hey Ty." I say.
'You locked yourself in the bathroom Lying on the floor when I break through I pull you in to feel your heartbeat Can you hear me screaming "please don't leave me"...'
"I don't want to go. I don't want to leave." He cries.
I rush over to him and pull him into a huge hug.
"I know you don't. I don't want you to leave me either." I whisper in his ear.
'Hold on, I still want you Come back, I still need you Let me take your hand, I'll make it right I swear to love you all my life Hold on, I still need you...'
"I should've told someone. I-I should've said something but no. I tried to make it seem like I was strong. I'm not strong Lex. I'm not." He sobs into my shoulder.
"You are! You are one of the strongest people I know. Sometimes you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have." I say, making him look me in the eye.

I hold him for about a minute or so when a nurse comes in. I kiss his cheek and step out of the room. I wipe away the stray tears in my eyes and go to comfort my best friend. Her mascara is ruined and her eyes are red and puffy. She doesn't look powerful. She looks broken.
