•••I was feeling better, a lot better. I got up and quickly got changed. I had already washed my hair the night before and I smiled at the thought of seeing Alexus again. I run down stairs and am greeted by my mom.
"Feeling better?" She asks, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Yeah, I told you already, I'm fine mom." I smile.
"Morning Kiddo!" Dad exclaims, ruffling my hair.
I get a pounding sensation in my head before sending him a forced grin. Abigail smiles at me and we wait outside for Alexus.

Abigail was talking to Alexus about something when she asked Lex something about a date.
"What date?" I ask, curiously, looking up from my Harry Potter book.
I tear my gaze away from her and start to play with my sleeves to keep myself calm.
"I Uhm went on a date with Zach." She says.
I was hurt; of course, wouldn't you be if the girl you loved went on a date with another man? I have to get over this crush I have, it's only hurting me.
I nod my head in understanding and avoid meeting her eye for the rest of lunch.
My head kept asking 'who cares if she's going on dates?' But my heart couldn't shake the fact that I do. I care.
I never ever thought that I'd like her this much and I never planned to have her on my mind this often.
The bell rings and I get up with a sigh before heading to biology. As I sat down in my assigned seat I realised that there was a brown haired girl next to me.
"Hey?" I greet.
"Hi! My names Ava. It's a pleasure to meet you." She says sticking her hand out.
"I'm Tyler. I've never seen you in this class before." I tell her.
"Oh, I swapped one of my other lessons for this." She laughs.
"Cool. Wanna hang out later?" I ask.
"Sure, I'd love too." She giggles.
