We're in Math. I'm supposed be concentrating on the work in front of me but my gaze keeps focusing on a certain black hair, blue eyed girl in the front of the class.

"Hey, bro? Are you okay?" Zach asks, snapping me out my thoughts.

"Huh? What?" I question.

"I asked if you were okay." He repeated.

"Yeah I'm fine. How did you know that you liked Alexus?" I asked curiously.

"She's Beautiful." He shrugs.

"But you can't..." I start.

"I know I can't see what color her hair is or how beautiful her eyes are." He smiles sadly, "But I know her soul is. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. If your falling for her because of her soul then your in love."

I nod my head in understanding and continue with my work. The bell rings for break and I bolt out of my chair to catch up with Abigail.

"Hey, can I talk to you?" I ask, tapping her shoulder.

"Uhm... sure." She answers.

"I wanna know how your feeling and please don't tell me your fine because I know your not fine." I sigh, running a hand through my curls.

"It's just so hard! My only brother is leaving me and there's nothing I can do to prevent it." She sobs, throwing herself into my chest.

"Shhhh. It's okay. He's going to a better place. He's too pure for this world." I soothe.

"But I need him!" She cries.

"God needs him more." I whisper.

I let her cry into my chest for a while before she pulls away.

"I got tears on your shirt." She says, half laughing.

"Not a problem, it'll dry." I chuckle.

She looks up at me with her red puffy eyes and nods her head. I twirl a strand of her hair in my fingers and she looks away from me blushing.

"Hey guys!" Sydnie says, running up to us.

"Hey Syd?" I say, not really looking at her.

Abigail steps away from me and hangs her head. I put my index finger under her chin and tilt her head upwards.

"Look up. Don't hide your face." I smile.

She nods her head and we turn to Sydnie. Syd has a look of awe on her face and smiles a huge grin at me.

"You two are so cute." She gushes.

Abigail blushes and I clear my throat.

"We're not together." I say.

"Not yet!" Sydnie exclaims in sing-song before skipping away.
