A B I G A I L •••
I got up this morning finally feeling a tad bit happy. I was going to visit Tyler today. Alone. Since I didn't want my parents to come with me.
I get dressed into a red cropped hoodie, blue jeans and a checkered belt. As I was making my way downstairs I walk past Tyler's room. I step inside and look around.
His walls are white and his name is splattered on the wall in green paint. Why would he do that? He has a green wardrobe and green hulk bed sheets.
"What are you doing here?" My mom asks from behind me, almost making me jump.
"Why would be paint his name on the walls?" I fake laugh, ignoring my mothers question.
"He has a mind of his own." She laughs.
I hum in response and walk out the room and downstairs. I walk up to Alexus' car and she smiles at me.
She's wearing a black tube top, a blue skirt, a mustard sweater and some nude boots. We get into the car and drive to school.
Once we're at school Jack comes running up to me and grabs my hand. He pulls me away from everyone and brings me into a huge hug.
"Hey." He says, once he finally lets me go.
"Hey." I reply.
"So... any plans for today?" He asks.
"Yup. I'm going to visit Tyler." I say.
"Can I come?" He questions.
"Um sure but... no ones ever asked if they could." I explain.
"Well consider me the first." He grins.

I decided to wait for Jack on the field so I sat on the grass.
"Hey, there you are." Jack says tapping me on the shoulder. "You ready?"
"No." I say almost crying. "I'm scared."
"Why are you scared? Tyler's your brother." He says.
"No. I'm scared because everyday that goes past it's closer to him not being here. I'm going to miss him so much." I cry.
"I know you are. But he's going to be in a better place, I promise you." He says, grabbing my hand. "Now come on, let's spend as much time with your little brother as we possibly can."
We walk through the double doors of Redview hospital and head straight to Tyler's room. I have now memorised the route to Tyler's room.
We knock on the door and a soft 'come in' was heard from the other side. I push open the door and my little brother is there, skin awfully pale but smiling.
"Are you two dating?"
