Narrowing his eyes, Y/n's boyfriend sends her a teasing smile from across the room. His brown hair was messy, sticking up in all directions, attire opposite of work, more home wear, almost PJs. The warlord looked relaxed and he felt it.

Typically Hideyoshi tries to look his best at all times. Today Hideyoshi just wanted to be lazy, and his schedule was limited as it was, so he had no reason to be all dressed up if he planned on staying in bed all day. But he wasn't in bed... because the woman he wanted to wake up with had disappeared from his side and he was in search of her.

The man beside him was his Lord, Oda Nobunaga in the flesh, the man he works and lives for. Why would he stay in his comfortable clothes?

Hideyoshi had the whole day to himself. And yet here she finds him, in the great hall, discussing war topics with Nobunaga, looking like he just woke up. Of course, his morning mission was to find Y/n and return her to his room where she had spent the night in last night. Somehow, he found himself caught up in discussion with his Lord.

Mitsunari sat a little ways from them holding a report in his hands, reading over it for the next council, not focusing on anyone or anything but the thick stack in from if him. He doesn't even notice when the princess walks in, but the dozens of other vassals take note and turn away, avoiding eye contact.

Hmm... weird. the princess thought to herself.

"We are in the middle of something, Y/n." Nobunaga didn't glance her way, he knew by the sudden drop in conversation and change of energy when she strutted through the open doors, it was his lucky charm.

Her boyfriend's teasing smile twists into a goofy eyeroll. She could notice his beautiful eyes dilate from across the room, that's how intense their locked gazes were. He sends an unsure look towards Nobunaga before silently laughing.

I already know that's not true, she think.

"Oh yeah? What are you even doing?" she skips through the room of vassals ignoring her presence and stops by Nobunaga.

The warlord bypasses her question, trying continuing on with his conversation with Hideyoshi. As expected, Y/n interrupts.

"Tell me!" she seats herself right beside him, staring at him, though he's not looking back. Of course, Nobunaga wouldn't get annoyed at such a small action, especially from Y/n. Though he snaps at her, knowing it doesn't hurt her, rather lights a flame in her.

"It it between Hideyoshi and I," he says as she kicks off the sandals that were making her feet ache. Sitting crisscross, her outer leg skimming his large ones.

"I wanna knooow!" her curious eyes shift to his dark hair, nice and smooth. She wondered if his hair smelt good.

The Devil King rolls his eyes, clicking his tongue before smiling devilishly, curious eyes peering into hers. Something in him switched. He was getting more and more comfortable with her as the weeks passed, which is why he is okay with doing this-

Everyone watched at his slender fingers lingered over her small smooth looking feet. In the blink of an eye he grabbed them, pushing a squeal out if the princess's mouth as she tries to kick his hand away.

"You really want to know?" his tone wasn't rude, in fact, he was teasing her.

Hideyoshi sends his Lord an unsure look, but catches himself and shakes the expression off his face, his gaze falling quickly before glancing back up at the innocent expression painted perfectly on her face. Since when were you so comfortable with Lord Nobunaga? Hideyoshi thought to himself.

"Umm.. excuse me, Lord Nobu-" Hideyoshi tries to speak up on his girlfriend's behalf.

"Tell me," she blurted, eyes attached to his.
