Across the room, the ninja's squinted eyes meet mine and all the sudden, my heart jumps in my chest. I choke on my saliva before looking anywhere else.

Even though I've known this man for years, and years, made countless hours love with him, finding his chocolate brown eyes staring back into mine stirs my emotions.

Looking around the room to see if anyone saw me, nobody looks except for him. In fact, he's chuckling at me for choking. He hides his face with his hands, peaking through his slender fingers back at me.

Meanwhile, my cheeks burn so hot I feel feverish as he also look around to see if anyone is looking. Lucky for me, nobody heard me violently choking on my saliva.

Looking back at him, I see he's peaking at me through his fingers and I loose it.

I laugh out loud and instantly slap my hand over my mouth. I notice, out of the corner of my eyes, a few people turn in my direction, but I keep my focus solely on him.

Once his eyes go wide, shifting left and right, I can't hold back my laughter any longer and my abnoxious giggles makes him laugh as well.

The ninja stands up and makes his way towards me. I quickly shut up and he walks up to me with a huge smile on his face, holding a polite hand out for me to grab, and I do.

"You're such a goof ball, Y/N, but I kind of love it."

My cheeks still burn as my husband places a kiss on my forehead. Then he pulls us away from all the people watching us commerce.

Sasuke pulls me through the halls and outside of the castle. He takes me to a my favorite cafe where we order donuts and drink coffee.

Once we finish our snack, his selfish hand grabs my own and he's pulling me around again, once more he doesn't tell me where.

We pass Kenshin's small garden. He lets me stop and smell the roses, telling me to watch for the thorns. Then we stop to greet the bunnies.

I seat myself on the cold grass and wait for them to like around and on me.

"Aww I wish I had a camera right about now," Sasuke says as he watches you pet the snow white bunnies.

After a few minutes a deep voice speaks up from behind me.

"Y/N, are you enjoying yourself?" Kenshin holds a small smile on his face, while looking around all all his tiny bunnies hoping into my lap.

"Oh yes, very much, thank you."

Kenshin hands me some green veggies, gently caressing my fingers as the food is passed from his hand to mine.

"I was about to feed them, but since you're here, I will allow you to."

Kenshin kneels next to me, face close to mine as he stares down blankly at his bunnies.

"Aw. Thanks Ken."

After feeding the bunnies and chatting with the God of War. We wonder through the small market place of Echigo, not stopping for a single booth.

"I still believe you're the only women Kenshin will ever warm up to..."

Sasuke walks a little slower now, staring down at our feet as we walk in the dirt.

The people in the market are loud today. Kiss run around chasing each other with small toys in their hands.

All around us, lively people shop and play, not caring about anyone but themselves. Selfishly beautiful.
