"I keep finding things that she left on purpose." Nobunaga chuckles to his fellow warlord.
His room was filled with perfume, pink kimonos and earrings. (Y/N)s shoes, pony tails, even fabric is thrown over the room. Her purse was in his desk, which he stuffed there. It's a small little purse, absolutely no use for a strong, rich warlord like Nobunaga Oda, but he carries it around whenever (Y/N) is busy and he can't see her.
Many short love notes hang on the wall, signed and dated by his dear lover. He reads them every morning, he's almost got them memorized.
Hideyoshi caught a glimpse of the first sentence to the one farthest to the right. To the man of my dreams, an absolute-
"That's personal you know?" Nobunaga was smirking at him, amused. "But, she's really too good for me."
"At least she treats you well, my lord. But once that changes-"
"Hideyoshi, what have I told you about speaking falsely about (Y/N)? There is no end to everlasting love." Nobunaga states matter-of-factly, a tint of anger in his voice.
"And besides," Nobunaga starts, leaning against the desk, face towards the ground, "She helped me find myself; she fixed me, I owe her my life. I owe her your life Hideyoshi. That woman deserves to have a whole army in support of every thing she does, all the time. She deserves to walk around all of Azuchi without an ounce of fear, because she trusts me and my power and authority. She needs me to be there to calm her every time she needs it and I fear I'm struggling at that."
Hideyoshi doesn't get the sentimental Nobunaga often so he makes himself comfortable on the floor, listening contently as his lord blabbers about his love life.
Nobunaga sighs before continuing. "She deserves better than I, but she knows too well, she'll never escape me. She tried once, months ago, but I wouldn't let her."
Hideyoshi fought back the rude comments. He was thinking if she didn't want you... why didn't you just let her go? Hideyoshi was never filled in on the time traveling, so "leaving" to him was less intense but still hurt the same.
"She knows how to please me, though, I never get tired of watching her," the warlord's chin rises to the air recalling recent memories. "She's an innocent bunny in love with the wolf that chased her for years." He smiles at his reference, her beautiful smile pops up in his head.
Nobunaga spots her white bear from across the room. Instead of crossing the room to snuggle the stuffed animal, he brought her only "jacket" up to his nose, inhaling her scent. He then hugged the fabric that helped him feel closer to him.
"I bought her dozens of hairpins. I told her to take them to her room but she didn't listen."
Hideyoshi was in shock at the sight of his lord in utter love shock. He has picked up on your habits in the past year you've lived here. He treats you nearly the same as he does his lord, praising you, nearly worshipping, if not, Nobunaga will probably great him less of a vassal. Hideyoshi didn't want to necessarily... but he's grown fond of you and easily see's you as a friend that he must always care for.
Hideyoshi laughs at the sight of all the pretty hairpins in his Lord's drawer. Even though Hideyoshi may fear Naga's lover might try to leave them, they both adore her unconditional. Nobunaga had just exposed a different side of her, Hideyoshi doesn't know what to say. He finds it cute, but if it upsets his lord, he'll put a stop to it.
No he won't.
Hideyoshi doesn't think so, but he's a total softy for (Y/N), as long as she isn't actually hurting Oda, Hideyoshi is understanding about their relationship. Actually, he's even helper (Y/N) move her books into Nobunaga's bed chambers, and has bought her more hairpins that she never wore but instead were used to fill up all Nobunaga's space.
Nobunaga's girlfriend even has her own pillow and blanket in his room. She asked about changing the curtains too, Nobunaga gave in to her puppy eyes. He also was talked into pink rugs. His room was more for a woman than a "ruthless" warlord.
"I don't regret it though, in fact, I want her to move in, officially. Her stuff is already here, I don't see why not."
At that exact moment his girl walked into his chambers with a few box's. The first box had makeup, hairpins and pony tails. In a smaller box there was new fabrics and some cooking books.
"I hope you don't mind, I'm gonna leave these here," she set them beside his desk until further arrangements m
"Why don't you just move in, princess?" Nobunaga sounded 100% serious.
"Well, you told me I could, I thought that's what I've been doing," she looks around the room at her stuff, regretfully.
"Wait what? Are you referencing when we were making love last week? I told you I wanted you to move in so we could-"
"Pardon my interruotion, but naybe it's time I be taking my leave. Good night Lord Nobunaga, and good luck Y/N." With that short phrase his right hand man was out the door.
"What's his problem?"
"Forget him, I did mean it... I only wasn't thinking like that though."
"Thinking with your downstairs? Hm what's new. Maybe I'll just move in with Ieyasu, he loves my cuddles." It was an innocent joke, not serious at all.
Ieyasu and Y/N have became great friends lately, if you ask anyone but Ieyasu. They share secrets and sometimes, he will comfort her when she's wearing even the smallest of frowns, and other times he'll push her away. Their relationship is complicated but Isyasu wouldn't change it.
Ieyasu once pushed her so hard she rolled off the stone steps leading to Azuchi's garden and he hugged and kissed away all the bruises. Even though Ieyasu told her not to be a baby, and that she was fine he still carried her to her manor and made sure she was okay.
Even if Y/N just wants a hug he will drag the small "can I have a hug?" into a huge deal. He always gives in, but on rare occasions he will hug her in public.
Nobunaga could have took this joke. He knows Ieyasu, and besides Nobunaga doesn't get jealous. He just really doesn't. Why should he? Who would leave him? Not (Y/N) ... right?
"Oh and we had a sleepover yesterday. I guess I forgot to tell you."
Nobunaga's eyes turned darker than the gray clouds in the night sky. "What?"
"Naga, where are you going... and why do you have your sword? Nobunaga?"
