Day 1
Staring at his pink lips for waaay too long, you blink down at his heavenly jawline. Finding yourself entranced in his exposed skin peaking out of his kimono, his sharp, beautiful collar bone. The way his teeth go at his bottom lip as he struggles to focus. The dirty thoughts were digging their way into your innocent mind.

You've been feeling this way for far too long and you have to see if maybe you could get to his soft side and get him to admit he feels the same feelings. You're done holding back.

He finally notices you're staring at his features. Ieyasu doesn't say anything, but instead pushes you out of his mind and focuses on his paperwork. In his mind, you were just being weird and he didn't have time right now.

When you came to the realization of just how long you've been staring, you excuse yourself for a few moments, walking out of the room and into the library where you're greeted by Mitsunari.

You asked him why he read so many books daily and he explained it to you in great detail. Then he asked you what your favorite books were and he told you his. Then he informed you about his collection back at his manor.

"Wow! That's kind of... insane?

"It's not.."

Ieyasu comes to find you after his work was finished. After searching for a few minutes, he asked some of the maids if they had seen you, and luckily for him, one of them saw where you went.

This is where Ieyasu saw you reading beside Mitsunari. He stopped and cleared his throat, glaring. As for you, you greeted him with a friendly smile and dropped your book, walking around the table, opening your arms to hug him. He declined the hug simply because Mitsunari was standing there.

You had asked him if he was possibly looking for you and of course he denied it and explained he took a wrong turn and found you. He then turned his heel towards the door, expecting you to follow.

You shouted at Mitsunari to save your book and then chased after Ieyasu with a smile on your lips.

You both went to his manor and fed Wasabi as usual, practiced some archery and read books for most of the night.

Day 4
This morning you bring him breakfast in bed and he stares at you like you have lost your mind. He dismisses you so he could get dressed and when he finishes his breakfast, alone, he comes to find you.

He didn't thank you for breakfast, but you didn't take it to heart. Instead you asked if he'd be interested in walking through the garden with you. Ieyasu knew this was your favorite place to be, and even though he prefers to visit the garden alone, he couldn't deny you when your puppy eyes were involved.

The garden is filled with tweeting birds, bright flowers and this beautiful, beautiful body of water that you swear could grant wishes.

You look to your feet, searching for a perfectly round and shiny rock to toss into the pond. Ieyasu calls you childish as the pebble hits the surface of the water and sinks immediately.

Still, he askes what you wished for and you simply reply with a three letter word. He didn't understand why you would wish for that. Why would you want to?

You turned around and offered your hand for him to hold but he declined and walked ahead of you. The trip wasn't as romantic as you had wanted, but you didn't expect much.

After you got to the castle door, he explained he had better things to do and he left but he promised you lunch tomorrow.

Day 5
When you saw him enter the meeting room just before a war council. Running up to him, you engulfed him in a big hug. It was a short hug, filled with love but also awkwardness. When the both of you had parted, he gently pushed you off to a distance while giving you a look filled with confusion.
