Marquis Hunington could not figure out what was going on. He had been on his way to visit Clarissa when several massive explosions had rocked his mansion. The mercenaries he hired on as bodyguards had told him there were a pair of intruders, and one of them was a sorceress! A sorceress! Not only that, but the sorceress in question none other than Chloe, whom he had dealings with.

"That bitch! How dare she betray me like this! After everything my family and I have done for her! I'll show that cunt who is in charge here!"

Marquis Hunington snarled as he walked through a hallway, listening to the sounds of fighting echo all the way to him. He had no idea where the enemies were. It sounded like they were simply wreaking havoc everywhere!

His destination was his office. A pair of guards were protecting him in case the intruders showed up and attacked him. They were a pair of large men with powerful physiques and the latest magitech weapons. The pikes in their hands could fire lightning at will, making them incredibly potent.

However, as he reached his office, he saw that the door was ajar, which caused him to stop walking. A cold sweat permeated his brow. Could the enemy be inside? No, that was impossible. Even now he could still hear the fighting from somewhere else in the mansion.

As if to emphasize this fact, another massive explosion rocked the mansion. Marquis Hunington grunted as he nearly fell to the floor. If it wasn't for his mercenary bodyguards, he would have taken a nasty spill.

When the shaking subsided, he glanced at the two as they let go of him. "Check inside of that room. See if anyone is in there."

"Yes, sir."

The two mercenaries nodded and wandered over to the door. They stood on either side, their backs pressed against the wall as one of them grabbed the handle and flung the door open. Marquis Hunington stood some distance away as the two rushed inside. He waited for them to come out and confirm that the room was clear, but when no one emerged, he became fearful yet also curious.

What should he do? Should he turn the other way? But that would mean potentially running into those two who were wreaking havoc!

Seeing no other option, Marquis Hunington slowly walked toward the door and peered inside. What he found shocked him.

Two women were standing in the office, and while he didn't recognize the blonde girl with elf ears, there was no way he couldn't not recognize the other one. Her red hair was slightly messy and framed a pale face with many freckles. Her small body was something he had already thoroughly explored. She was wearing the same negligee he'd seen her in last time, which he had changed her into several days ago after drugging her food.

"C-Clarissa?" he asked, stepping into the room in shock. "What are you doing out of your room?! It's dangerous! Let me escort you back!"

"There's no need for that," Clarissa said before making a hand gesture. "As you can see, I am perfectly capable of protecting myself."

Marquis Hunington let his gaze trail to where the woman was pointing. He nearly choked on his own spit when he saw his two guards lying unconscious on the floor. He couldn't see any marks or signs of combat, making it look like they'd just dropped and fallen asleep without warning.

Turning his gaze back to Clarissa, Marquis Hunington nearly took a step back when he saw the fire blazing in the sorceress' eyes. "N-now Clarissa, there's no need to be so mad. All the things I did was because I love you."

"Is that what you tell all the girls you rape?" asked Clarissa, her body shivering with rage. "What you feel isn't anything close to love. It's lust, pure and simple. But I'm not here to talk about how you kidnapped and violated me for your own twisted pleasure." Marquis Hunington felt a strange pressure as the sorceress glared at him. "I'm here to talk about your slave trading operation."
