It took two hours for them to reach the Peacekeeper's headquarters. Commander Klein pulled the MAFT into a small garage in the back, and then Caspian carried Sylvia into the headquarters through the back entrance.

Several people spotted them as they walked through the hallway, but when they saw the stern face on Commander Klein, none of them had the heart to talk. That said, a large number of them stared at the woman in Caspian's arms. The shock in their eyes when they recognized her was more than understandable. It was doubtful that any of them would have expected to find the Sylvia de Floresca in such an unkempt state.

After reaching their bedroom, Caspian set Sylvia on the bed and stepped back. Elincia took his place.

"Eir, can you please help me?" she asked.

"I am here, young one." Eir appeared before them once again. Commander Klein, who hadn't seen Elincia's unique brand of summoning, stared at the woman suddenly standing beside Elincia in shock. "Hmm... it looks like this woman has been drugged with a powerful sedative."

"But you can heal her, right?" asked Elincia nervously.

Eir gave her a calming smile. "Of course. Flushing the drug from this woman's body is but a trifling matter."

Elincia placed a hand against her chest and sighed in relief. At that moment, Eir stepped up to the bed and placed her hand on Sylvia's forehead. A bright glow encompassed her hand, flowed into Sylvia's head, and then spread to the rest of her body. While Commander Klein, Cassidy, and Christo could only see the visual effects, Caspian's scalp prickled as the powerful surge of mana erupted from the spirit.

"It is done." Eir stood up and looked at Elincia. "I must go now, young one. You do not have much mana left, and I would hate for you to pass out right now."

"I understand. Thank you, Eir."

Eir soon disappeared into thousands of light particles. As she vanished, Elincia staggered into Caspian, who wrapped an arm around her shoulder to keep the blonde elf from falling over. Her ears drooped as if emphasizing her exhaustion.

"Ele..."

"I'm fine." Elincia took several deep breaths. "I just didn't expect to summon Eir again today."

"I do not know what just happened," Commander Klein began, "but we should discuss this matter in my private quarters."

"Yes," Elincia said. "I think this is too important to leave for later."

Commander Klein nodded and turned to Christo. "I want you to remain here and guard Lady Sylvia."

"You've got it, Commander." Christo saluted.

"I-I will also remain here," Cassidy said, a self-deprecating smile on her face. "I cannot do much, but I can at least make sure Lady Sylvia is comfortable."

"Thank you," Elincia said.

Once everyone had decided what they were going to do, Caspian and Elincia followed Commander Klein into his private quarters. Unlike the office, his private quarters were quite nice. The carpet was a soft beige. There was a large and comfortable-looking bed situated in a corner of the room. While Caspian didn't see any artwork or extravagant decorations, the walls were lined with pictographs. Most of them featured a young Commander Klein and a beautiful woman he'd never seen before. There were also a few of an even younger Commander Klein and Crystal Vinés.

"Sit down, you two." Commander Klein gestured toward a round table with several chairs situated around it. "Can I offer either of you something to drink?"
