The passageway that they walked through was long. Not only did it go for far longer than Caspian suspected, but it wasn't straight and narrow either. It wove around and moved in seemingly undulating patterns, turned several times, and even moved up and down. It felt like he was traveling through the gullet of a really big snake.

"Here we are," Christo said as he finally stopped before a staircase. "This is the exit."

Christo moved first, traveling up the staircase, his spirit lantern illuminating the space above, revealing the large doorway that blocked their path. It was locked. However, Christo took a key out of his pants pocket and used it to unlock the door.

"Caspian, give me a hand getting this open, would ya?"

"Leave this to me."

Caspian walked up the stairs and muttered a soft chant under his breath. With Vahvista activated, he was more than capable of pushing open the door without aid. His muscles heaved as what must have been several tons worth of steel groaned and lifted.

"Holy shit, since when have you gotten so strong?!" demanded Christo.

"Since now," Caspian muttered as he pushed the door open and began walking up the stairs.

The area that Caspian found himself in looked like a small alley. He couldn't tell where they were, though he knew they were far from the Peacekeepers headquarters. Since it was nighttime, it was hard to see beyond the alley, but with his elven eyesight, he noticed that the street just past these two buildings had no one walking by. Everyone was probably asleep.

Christo came out next, then turned around and shone his light into the staircase so Cassidy, Elincia, and Sylvia had light to illuminate their steps. The three woman walked out. Sylvia looked up at the night sky. While she appeared to be reflecting on something, Elincia frowned as she looked at everyone.

"I know it's nighttime and there aren't many people out this late, but I think we should disguise ourselves," she said.

"That's probably a good idea." Christo agreed. "At the very least, you, Caspian, and Lady Sylvia should be in disguise. No one is gonna bother me or Cassidy since we're not known to anyone, but your names and faces are famous."

"Loki?" Elincia called out suddenly. "Can you please disguise us as normal people?"

Sylvia straightened as Elincia opened a gate for Loki to cast a spell. Like Caspian, she probably felt Loki's mana covering her body, changing its shape into that of a brown-haired, brown-eyed woman with a much smaller bust. Even though it was only light being bent around their bodies to create an illusion, it felt like they were being covered in a layer of electric particles.

Elincia had also changed. Her hair was no longer a silvery blonde but strawberry blonde, and while her eyes were still blue, they appeared much darker. She'd also filled out and the general shape of her face had changed to make her look older than her 18 year-old self. Of course, her ears were also round. With a disguise like that, no one would recognize her.

Caspian didn't know what he looked like, but he knew that he had also changed.

"Wow! That's quite the change!" Christo said in shock.

Cassidy nodded. "I can't even recognize you three anymore."

"It seems you are far more adept at using the power of the Nordic Clan than you were before," Sylvia said as she studied her hands. "You've grown a lot."

"Thank you," Elincia murmured.

"Now that you three are disguised, let's go," Christo said.

They followed behind Christo as he lead them toward Commander Klein's house. As they walked, the five of them realized that these streets were not as empty as they first thought. Several groups of Peacekeepers were patrolling the streets. They were in groups of five, which was a standard Peacekeeper formation. From the way they were wandering down streets and checking out alleys, Caspian could only assume they were searching for something.
