Damn She's Fine

I don't remember when we met.
But I'm willing to bet.
It was the best night of my life.
Because it's when you became my wife.
In a small church on the strip.
With my arm around your hip.
To keep us from falling over.
With an Elvis as our preacher.

I remember the next morning.
Waking up to your soft snoring.
My first thought was "damn she's fine".
Then I saw our hands "and she's mine?"
You saw me and gave me a smile.
And I figured I can do this for a while.
Turns out a while with her.
Would lead to an amazing future.
