When I Had You

When my empty heart met you on a full moon night.
When snow danced between us below a park light.
I felt a warmth like never before under your gaze.
I felt time slow by your touch that stayed for days.
Had you not heard my cries where would we be.
Had I not been lost with the world falling around me.
You might've stayed in that job for too many years.
You wouldn't know why our eyes cry happy tears.
