My Door

When you closed my door.
You said I was free no more.
I believed what you said.
Turns out I was misled.
But deep down I knew.
What you said was not true.
My door was unlocked.
I can't say I was shocked.

Your key was a lie.
And when I asked why.
All you did was hide.
So when the tears dried.
I saw the world a new.
With no idea of what to do.
But I won't let is stop me anymore.
From walking out the door.
