Light's

My light went out when you went away.
So I stay in the dark on the bed where I lay.
Just waiting for the light to come back someday.
But I saw her in the dark when she walked my way.
She had this glow that was so bright.
I wish I had the strength to follow her light.
I try to get up and off the bed with all my might.
But I always fall no matter how hard I fight.

And the longer I stayed.
The more her glow started to fade.
It was a beautiful blue shade.
If I make it to her I'll be done with your charade.
So I find the will to stand on my own.
And walking twards her glow I don't feel so alone.
I feel a light inside I've never none.
I look for her glow but not a trace of it is shown.
