Birthdays and New Revelations - Chapter Twenty-Three

*Kendal's POV*

"What the fuck is what?"

She held phone up, it was picture of when I hugged Neymar and when he kissed me on the cheek at the shopping centre and then pictures of today of him carrying me (with David) and when he hugged me again.

Could I return home with at least one friend?

"You're not blind you can see what that is." I really didn't have time for another friend of mine to turn ballistic on me.

"Stop being so smart and just explain what this means!"

"You saw the video, that should explain everything."

"What about the kiss?!"

"Why are getting your pants in a twist over and a kiss on the cheek, that is just being friendly?"

"Friendly, right. Why were even alone with him and why did you hug him?"

"Because he wanted to know more about you, without it being like he was interviewing me and second of all because he got my brother the most amazing gift ever!"

"Oh..."

"Yeah, if you still have doubts you can check my text messages."

I got out my phone and opened the messages and handed it over to her. She started to end over our conversation."

"Ney the Bae?!"

"Just remain silent and read"

"Oh... I-"

"Yeah, you thought nothing. I know I may come across as flirty sometimes but only because I find it easier to talk to guys than girls due to the fact I have two brothers. I've had enough for today so could you just take your stuff and leave my room."

She didn't say anything, she stood their for a while and then left eventually. I looked at my phone, it just turned 10. I changed into my pyjamas and got into bed. I could do with some extra sleep, I've been going to bed late recently.

*the following morning*

This was the day of my brother's birthday, I got of my phone and sent him a message.

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22.

I calculated the time difference, it would be 2 a.m. in London so he would still be awake, replying to all of his birthday messages.

I smiled. I know but you are 22 now, so happy birthday!
