*Nobody's POV*

"Seriously Mel, shut up. I've had enough of your sly comments today, can't you clearly see she was upset." Kenton brushed passed Melissa, leaving her speechless.

The rest saw Kendal standing at the entrance, no one said anything, none were brave enough to approach her. She noticed that they were all standing there.

"Oh good, you guys are here if I had to wait any longer I would of called a cab." she laughed, but no one laughed with her. "Wow, tough crowd."

"Honey boo boo..." said Gerard.

"What?" she looked up at him and smiled at the ridiculous name.

"Are you okay?" he gave her a fake pout

"Yes, why wouldn't I?"

Gerard looked at her as if was crazy, and Tyler interrupted to two of them. "Are you serious, you were acting as if he attacked you?"

"It was nothing... okay" she thought of a lie on the spot. "He just had a spider in his hand a threatening to put it down my shirt."

"Okay, now I know why you reacted like that. Spiders are just creepy as fuck, I'm sorry I doubted you girl." said Melissa.

"Er, thanks Melissa." she said a confused tone, this is only time Melissa had done anything helpful for her.

"Ditto, Melissa. Spiders are a no no!" Lea agreed.

The three girls laughed, and Kendal was happy Lea and Melissa had her lie seem much more believable, however this is did not faze the guys.

"Our taxi's here, let's get in." Surprisingly Kendal got into the taxi with Lea and Melissa, she gave the directions to their hotel, and the guys got a taxi for themselves.

"Please tell me none of you believed what Kendal said." said Kenton.

"Of course not!" Gerard replied and Kalum nodded to what he had said

"It's more or less the opposite, don't you remember when we did DofE bronze, silver and gold, every time there was a spider on our tent, she practically killed each spider every time with anything she could find, sometimes even her hands" Tyler exclaimed and began to shudder and shiver at the memory.

"She needed to, you kept on screaming and everyone was cold and hungry in the middle of the countryside, I really think nobody wanted hear your girlish shrieks in the middle of the night. That's not the point here, we clearly know that she's not afraid of spider and could eat one if she had too, so why did she lie? That's what we should be concerned about."

"Don't worry, it will come out sooner or later. How long has she been able to hide anything for us?" encouraged Kenton. "Let's just drop the subject for now, she's clearly uncomfortable talking about it now."

"Yeah..."

Back in the girls car, the ride was silent. Kendal received a text from David asking what was wrong, she told the same excuse she told everyone else.
