G.U.A.R.D.I.A.N.S AGENCY, Bulgaria

"Agent Vulture..." A man in his mid-50s acknowledged the woman who had just arrived. She nodded her head and sat down, waiting for her boss to give her the papers. "I'm sorry to interrupt your vacation but I have a mission to give."

She raised her brow and stared at him. "Better give me a nice job or else, I'm going MIA again."

"Here."

She took the folder and scanned the papers. "...since when is babysitting in our resume, boss?" She put back the folder on the table and crossed her arms. The agency's mission is to protect people and save the world from harm. She can't believe that her boss dragged her back from her grand vacation just to baby sit a royalty. "Do I look like a nanny to you, Raven?"

He smirked at her. He already expected her reaction. "Agent Condor and Agent Eagle are still on their respective missions. I have another mission for Agent Phoenix. I can't contact Agent Thunderbird. And that leaves you, Agent Vulture. You're the agency's last resort."

"Your last resort," she snorted, emphasizing the words. She stared at the folder again. It's a foolish job if she would accept it. It's never thrilling and besides, she likes action with a lot of gun shooting. "Perhaps, you should do it yourself."

"Check the last page."

Agent Vulture sighed. She shouldn't have answered his calls. It was a big mistake coming back to the agency. She took the folder and read the last page. There was a photo – a woman's photo to be exact.

"So?" she asked, not interested.

"That's Eurydice Mariano, the daughter of the president..." he trailed off. He wanted to see her reaction. "...of your country." He smiled triumphantly when her face softened. He knows that Agent Vulture visits her family in the Philippines once in a while; and he thought that it could be a major step to gain trust from other countries. "Her father requested our agency for help."

She inhaled deeply as she contemplates on what Raven said. It's been years since she last visited her family. The last one was when her cousin died two years ago. And after that, she never returned. She was caught up with a lot of missions but she never failed to send regards to her family.

"What's the catch?"

Raven sat on his swivel chair. "After this mission, I will no longer disturb you unless it's very urgent."

She stood, satisfied with what she heard. "Okay."

"Agent Vulture," Raven called her, "you might start refreshing your college days. That might come in handy." he winked at her. "Kusmet!"

"Blagodarya."

She inhaled deeply. Maybe it's time, she grinned.
