AN//So today I've hit a writing block and decided that this one is going to be focused on Simon and in his point of View..So if you don't really like this character then I'm sorry about that.
And with that, enjoy :)
Today was going to be a great day. I'm going to be going to my boyfriend Jerome's house to practice our scene for the musical this year. This year, we're doing "The Christmas Carol", and Jerome, and bless his soul he worked so hard for the audition, is the lead role, Ebenezer Scrooge, and I get to be Jacob Marley, and a few other minor roles, that I'm still really excited for those too.
This morning I woke up early, at 10 am, now that's really early for me, especially on a Sunday. I showered, I used my favorite shampoo, which is children's shampoo, I like that it smells like green apples. Now, usually I would shave my face after too, but since the musical is typically set in the Victorian era, no ones allowed to shave or cut their hair, or anything really. I decided that today I was going to keep it simple, black joggers that actually fit me, since my body is a really awkward shape, I tend to wear things a little bigger. I matched that with a plain black shirt that in the corner there was a little embroidered pig, and over that, I put a sweatshirt on since it's really cold out.
I went downstairs to grab a bit of breakfast, which was going to be a scrambled egg with a little bit of leftover cold bacon. I grabbed that and went back up to my room, to grab a few things. While I ate breakfast, I packed my backpack with a few things. Consisting of the rather large book of everyone's lines, which I'm going to help Jerome with them as well, we only have another month to get down and memorized, which most of us already have down, since we've had the lines and parts for the last 3 months now.
I texted Jerome telling him that I'm ready for him to come to get me. I could drive there, but my cars being a little shit and haven't been starting at all for the last month, and it's been in the shop since then, and I don't like driving in the winter, it gives me anxiety. I heard Jerome honk his car horn outside, I don't know why he just doesn't text me. I grabbed my backpack and went downstairs to put my plate in the sink before I left. "Hey! Where are you going?" my sister Freya yelled from the couch, "I'm going to Jerome's!" I yelled back to her. I rushed to get my jacket and put it on, and then I grabbed my keys and said bye to my sister.
I got in the car and gave Jerome a quick kiss, I missed him so much..even though it's only been like 3 days. We started driving to his house, we stopped at Starbucks to, he got an iced tea and I got a regular mocha. We silently drank our expensive drinks together, and soon enough we were at his house. Before we went up to his room, I laid on the floor and played with his cat, Splump. Slump is this gross old Maine coon, but I love him, and he likes to play fetch with me.
After that, we went up to his room to start going over the lines. Which went extremely well, we have our entire scene perfectly memorized, which we've been struggling with for the last few weeks, but now we got it. I helped him go over the ending, which was probably going to take a lot out of him. Soon we decided that it was time for a little break. Jerome went downstairs to make some mini Pizza Bagels, and I was switching through channels to find something to watch. Eventually, he came up, pizza bagels on a paper plate for us to share. We cuddled together on his bed, he pulled up a blanket, and I decided on watching "Christmas with the Kranks", which is actually a really funny movie.
We finished our bagels long ago, I noticed that Jerome fell asleep, poor thing, he's been really busy lately, with the choir concert and the musical, and he himself has been doing some Christmas shopping. I happened to notice that I was a little tired myself...I reached up a little bit to give my Scrooge a kiss, and then I decided that I was going to try and get some more sleep myself.
FREYA'S POV
I was on the couch, watching the Polar Express, and knitting a pair of mittens that I can keep in my car. I heard Simon run down the stairs and throw a plate in the sink, it better not be broken I thought to myself, "Hey! Where are you going?" I yelled at him, I didn't think he was going anywhere today, "I'm going to Jerome's!" he shouted back to me. Jeromes? I thought they broke up like seven days ago not even. So that means that sometime between then, he broke up with his "girlfriend" and made up with Simon...Poor Simon...He'd forgive Jerome even if he killed Santa.
The end :)

Genel KurguIt's exactly as the title sounds. I'm just doing this for fun, but I will be focusing on these characters and this family. Some rules I've kinda made for myself is that I have to already include the prompt word or a word similar to it at least once...
