Chapter 27: Hunter Ran'yō Returns

So... Hunter comes back yet again. This is plot, and the reason why he comes back is unknown.

3:00 A.M. Natsuki's POV

I wake up and stretch to begin the day. I see that Sayori is sleeping next to me, breathing silently with a smile on her face. I brush the back of my hand on her face before heading to the bathroom to put in my contacts. When I do, I go back to the room and see that Sayori is just waking up, yawning and stretching, her back cracking loudly. I go over and hug her tightly, and she yelps in surprise.

"N-Natty! I didn't see you there..!" Sayori giggles, and I scratch behind her ears.

"Your eyes were closed. Of course you wouldn't be able to see me, hun." I explain, and she pecks my nose.

She giggles cutely and heads downstairs, but I follow her and get in the reins again, cooking breakfast. I feel a hand touch my shoulder and pink-ish hair next to me, looking at the food.

"Sorry, Sayori. I can't really look at you right now, I need to cook." I explain.

"Nyu?" Nyu asks, and I giggle.

"Sorry, Nyu. You have around the same hair color as Sayori, but still. I'm trying to cook, so... vamoose." I explain, and she peers deeper at the food before she gets dragged away.

"Sorry, Natsuki. She just dissapeared, and I couldn't find her, so I followed the food." I hear Lucy explain.

After a while, I finally finish breakfast and present it to everyone, and they all look at it like it was a gift from God.

"That looks so good!" Gumi exclaims, and everyone nods in agreement.

Except for Shadow, who's still brooding in that corner.

"Hey, Shadow! You gonna come over'n have breakfast with us?" Sonic asks, and Shadow scoffs.

"I don't eat. I don't need to." Shadow explains.

"Well, you would if Katrina was here!" Sonic provokes, and Shadow glares at him, making all of us back away from them in fear.

Shadow walks up to Sonic slowly and full of intimidation, making Sayori shiver in my arms a little, but I stroke her head, making her calm down.

"If all of you behind this blue nuisance know what's good for you, you will remain silent." Shadow explains, and we all nod before Shadow once again throws Sonic out of the open window, with Shadow following shortly after.

"Is it safe to move..?" Yuri asks.

"I'm sure it is. L-let's just keep eating..." Miku explains, and we continue to eat.

"Sheesh, how angry can he get..?" Seras asks.

"He isn't even halfway angry yet." Retro responds, and we all look at him, calmly eating his pancakes.

"How angry can he get?" Seras asks.

"Well... one time, he got so mad that he blew up the entire Earth, but Sonic was lucky that he was in his Superform, because he can breathe in space in that form. He can also reverse time using Chaos Control as well as alter, completely stop or counter another in that form as well." Retro explains, and I see that the Kagamines, Kanna and Saikawa are having a hard time wrapping their heads around it.

"Huh. Explanitive." Yuri remarks, and Retro stifles a laugh.

"That's hilarious. Give me the guy who writes your material." Retro states sarcastically.

"If you wanted an explanation, we'd be here all day." Retro continues, and we look at him in confusion and shock.

"The food's gonna get cold if y'all're just gonna stare at me like that." Retro explains, and we continue to eat.
