Chapter 38: I'm "GLaD tO See" You Again

3:09 P.M. Monika's POV

Oh, hi there! Didn't see you there, reading my thoughts again. Just letting you all know now, that there are disses to me, Yuri, Sayori and Natsuki later on in the story. Who says them? What happens next? Keep reading to find out!

I sit up, rubbing my eyes and stretching. I kiss Yuri's forehead and head on out of the room and plop down on the couch, making the remote flip into the air for 10 whole seconds before I catch it and turn on the news.

"Good morning, DokiDoki City! The temperature today is a warm 75°F with slight winds, and it's going to be sunny all day long!" The newsperson explains, and I scoff.

"At least there's finally some good news..." I state.

"You got that right... all of the news up here is nothing but bad or world-changing. And I should know, since me and Marie were the newspeople of Inkopolis as well as performers!" Callie explains, shaking awake a sleeping Marie.

I smile and look back at the news.

"In other news, the Aperture Science Laboratories Computer-Aided Enrichment Center has finally completed its set up, and is ready to accept volunteers. Word has it that they've already chosen someone to go, so just hope that it's you! More at 5." The newsperson explains before the commercials play, making me turn the TV off.

"What a load of malarkey." I state aloud, and I sink in the couch some more.

"I know that place, but I can't place my finger on why..." Retro explains.

"Of course you would know, Retro! You're just Mr. Know-It-All, aren't you?" Midna jokes, pulling on his cheek as Seras and Isabelle slap her hand away.

We have a good laugh before we hear footsteps coming down the stairs. I look to see that the rest of the girls (my DDLC girls, in case you didn't get my meaning) are coming down as well. They all sit next to me in a cuddle-huddle, and I smile warmly.

"Good morning to you all as well, girls.". I state, and Sayori hugs me a little tighter.

"Good morning to you too!" Sayori exclaims, and I pat her head as I lay my head down on Yuri's stomach.

"Isn't that just adorable?" Luka asks, making all of us blush.

"W-well..! Um... uuu..." Natsuki struggles.

"Naa, na na, keep going, keep going, keep going." Frisk ushers, taking a sip of her blueberry-grape smoothie.

"N-no thanks! Ahaha..." Natsuki laughs, making everyone laugh along with her.

A couple of hours pass of nothing, and Natsuki taps my goddesslike thigh, waking me up from a deep sleep.

Had to make Retrotech put the adjective 'goddesslike' in there because for some reason, you all REALLY like my thighs. And y'know what? I'm fine with it! I like 'em, too because Yuri likes them. In fact, she's grabbing them right now as she's sleeping with me laying on her.

"It's kinda... quiet, innit?" Natsuki asks, and I nod.

"But it's a good kind of quiet." I retort, and Natsuki smirks.

"Any kind of quiet is a good kind of quiet in my opinion. Just lets you take in all of the pleasures of life with no interruptions... don't you think?" Marie asks, leaving us all in shock.
