Chapter 28; An Alliance

(Lucy's POV)

I took his hand,"I accept."

Future Rogue smiled,"Welcome to the alliance."

I think I know why I accepted. I have nothing to do, nowhere to live, nobody to love.

Maybe I should call my friends first. They're probably worried about me. I removed the grip of Rogue's hand.

"Where's my phone?" I asked, it wasn't in my pockets.

"Oh. Here," he handed me my phone.

"Thanks," I grinned and turned to the bathroom. I placed the toliet cover down, and sat on it. I opened my phone.

"Huh? Two voicemails?" I was curious.

It was from Natsu. Should I listen to it? Uhh whatever. I pressed play on the first one.

"Lucy.....I'm sorry. I....I didn't mean to do that. I'm such a dick. I love you. Remember that when I suicid-" the message stopped.

My eyes started to water,"Natsu...... No......"

I played the 2nd one,"Lucy............." There was a long pause,"Sayonara." Natsu's voice spoke from my phone.

Then I heard the hard wind. No.....Natsu fell off high ground. He can't- he shouldn't..... I can't think anymore. The tears streamed down my cheeks.

A buzz interrupted.

My phone was ringing. It's Levy. I answered it.

"Hello...?" I mumbled as I placed the phone in my ear.

"Lu-chan! You finally answered!" Levy exclaimed.

"Aren't you guys supposed to be in class?" I asked.

"We're not focused on that, Lucy, we're focused on you." Erza's voice was stern.

"Juvia and everyone else are worried!" Juvia says.

"I ran away, okay? I'm not a student at Fairy Tail Academy anymore. When it's my birthday, I'll be a legal adult."

"But where are you?"

"I'm staying......at a motel." I hesitated.

"Why did you pause?"

"I gotta go." I hung up. I sighed.

What happened to my life?

First it was amazing, and now I feel horrible. Now I'm part of an evil alliance, being 3 months pregnant, and I have nobody I know well enough here.

"Lucy. You must be hungry. They'll be food in the kitchen," Rogue informed out the door.

"Okay."

(Erza's POV)

"That's weird," I mumbled.

"Yeah, Lu-chan wouldn't lie like that," Levy agreed.

"Juvia thinks we should get back to class before we get caught...." Juvia insisted as being the goody-two-shoes of the group.

"I don't know. Happy-sensei hasn't come yet. I wonder what happened."

*•*Time Skip; a few months later*•*

(3rd person/Normal POV)

Time passed, and Lucy's belly bump got bigger for people to notice.

"You didn't tell me you were pregnant," Future Rogue was surprised.

"I kept it a secret," Lucy replied.

"I wonder who's the father?" Yukino wondered.

Lucy was about to tear up, but she held it in and continued eating. "....It's Natsu Dragneel." I mumbled.
