2015, Sokovia.
Nikita Romanova POV.

My Visa was approved last month and today was the day I was moving in to my new apartment. It was in Sokovia in a pretty nice and calm area. All of my stuff was being driven there and I was supposed to meet the movers there. I was taking a taxi to the building and it was about an hour away from the airport I was in.

I got to my place and the movers were already there. I unlocked the door and they began filling the empty main room with boxes. Everything was unpacked from the truck in about 20 minutes and I began to open every individual box. I didn't bring much, I plan on buying newer furniture and appliances but all of my clothes and belongings came with me. I brought my bed and my couch and my apartment came with a kitchen so I didn't have to worry about a stove or fridge.

After a few hours, everything was unpacked and almost in the right spots. I needed a few other shelves and to get the wifi set up and then I'd be set. It was alot of work but it was worth it. Sokovia was great and nothing was holding me back now. I had more rights and freedoms. I had been trying to come here for about a year now.

I walked around the neighborhood and looked at what Sokovia had to offer. There was a Starbucks only across the street and a grocery store a little farther down the road. All of my rubles were changed into Euros so I had some money on me. I got a coffee from across the street and walked back to my apartment. It was a cute little area but it was getting pretty dark. I know I said I was probably going to America, but it was really far away and on a different continent, it just seemed like too much for me.

I went back to the apartment and got ready for bed, it was a really long day and my bed was looking really nice. I put on my pajamas and flopped down on to the bed and passed out.

The next morning I woke up at eight and got dressed. I was planning on going to IKEA to get some shelves and a few other things like coffee tables to make the place more like mine. I didn't know where anything was so I typed it into Google maps and it wasn't too far.

I got in my car that I had picked up earlier in the day and drove where my phone told me to. IKEA was huge and I almost got lost in there, in fact, I did get lost in there. Multiple times. Moving to a new country was hard, but my life is hard so it's not too much for me to deal with. Anyway, I got everything I needed and a few extras and was done shopping for the day. What else did this new land have to offer?
