FINALE- FINAL PART
-EVERYONE-"So this is goodbye then."
"This is goodbye."
"You're really going to go?" Peter asked.
I smiled a sad smile at him, then at everyone surrounding Natasha and I.
"I'm going... we're going."
"I'll take good care of her, I promise. She's my little sister, as if I'll let anything bad happen," Natalia placed an arm around me.
"You two be careful. We want to have you both back here in six months."
"And we want to come back."
"So, don't shoot each other, don't get shot, don't jump in front of any bullets. Please be careful, we need you both here. Nat, you're the glue. You keep us guys in line. And Nikita, we just met you, but we all need you to come back."
"You guys are pretty cool, I'll do what I can."
"Seriously. You guys can turn back now. You don't have to go. You can stay local."
"Tony..."
"If you die, it's on you."
"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind... when I'm dead," I sighed.
I wasn't going to cry. There's no way I was going to let them see me cry. This was the worst time possible to show weakness. I had to be strong right now, I can cry in Brazil maybe. We'll be fine, and in a hotel. It's not like we're camping out in a battlefield.
"I love you guys," Nat said.
"We love you too."
Everyone looked at me.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"I'm not going to make a heartfelt speech. Don't even try to make me."
"Speech!" Wanda and Pietro yelled in unison.
"No."
"Speech! Speech! Speech!" Everyone was chanting.
"I'm only doing this because I might never see you people again."
"Woooooooo!"
"Ugh. Okay...."
"Make it good," Natalia whispered to me."I'm not excited to go, hell, I'd rather stay with all of you guys now that I know you. But uh, this is what we need to do. And even if we come back in body bags, we'll be back. It's going to suck being without all of you now that I know what I'm going to be missing. I want to stay and shoot targets with Clint, blow stuff up with Bruce, go on runs with Steve, play games with Wanda and Pietro, be a teenager with Peter and fly over the city at night with Tony. All of that, it's going to inspire me to try and not die. So thank you. All of you."
"Wow, emotional. I didn't think you had it in you Nikita," Tony laughed.
"It took everything I had in me, gross wasn't it."
"No, it was nice," Peter smiled.
Natalia and my phone's started ringing. It was really time to leave. I didn't want to, I could call it all off right now.
"I guess this is it then," Natalia sighed, "You ready?"
"As I'll ever be."
