Clint choked and Tony's head shot up from the book he was reading.
"Who?" Natalia asked with a shaky voice.
"Alexi Shostakov?"
"Fucking hell," Tony muttered under his breath.
"Is there a problem with that?"
"How do you know that name?" Natalia stood up and started walking towards me.
"He was my brother in law."
"No he wasn't," she glared at me.
"What the hell?"
"You've got the wrong man."
"I doubt that," she was getting hostile.
"Natasha calm down," Clint walked over to her and put his hand on her shoulder.
"Alexi-you don't, you're lying. I don't know how you know him but you don't. He was nothing like what you were describing."
"He was a bad person Natalia!" I snapped.
"He never did anything to hurt you or me, you were just paranoid," her voice cracked.
"You were blind! Natalia, you still are!"
"That's not my name!"
"And Nina isn't mine! Shut up and open your eyes! You were a piece of shit sister to me and you still are! Have you not changed in 64 years?!"
"64 years?" Steve interjected.
"Shut up Steve!" Tony yelled.
"You were scared for no reason, you were 12 years old! You didn't know anything."
"I knew you were recruited by the Russian government. I knew Alexi was sent to actually stop and kill Steve over there," Steve turned and looked at Natalia. "I knew that you were going to be taken by The Hand but Ivan saved you. I knew everything Natalia."
"You knew nothing."
"That's nothing to you?! Screw this," I got up and walked out the door.
I had no place to go, but I had some money. I'd figure it out, I always have. I thought she'd be a tad happier to see me. I was starting to walk down the street when I heard someone calling me, well Nina.
"Nina wait!" I turned around and was face to face with Clint.
"Hm?"
"Don't go. Natasha isn't in her right state of mind right now. She usually isn't like this. Just lots of bad memories are coming back to her."
"Clint, right?"
"Yeah."
"I'm Niki. If you couldn't tell already, I'm Natalia's little sister. I haven't seen her in 64 years and right away we picked up where we left off."
"Yeah, I get that and all but she's been through alot that you don't know about."
"Shoot."
"Uh well... she's an assassin. Well, was. She grew up in a place called the Red Room Training Facility."
"You wanna know why I haven't left here yet?"
"Why?"
"I'm a carbon copy of her. I know she did that. They found me. I'm an assassin too, and I want her dead."
"Natasha?"
"Mhm. I'm going to go. Tell her to watch her back."
"I'm not gonna tell her that, you are."
"Try me."
"You asked for it."
He pulled an arrow out of his quiver and shot it at me, classic move. I ducked and kicked his knees in, making him fall down. I pushed him over and stepped on his one arm, putting all of my weight on it. He grabbed my hood and flung me into the air, but I landed on my feet. I kicked him hard in the stomach and he fell down again. I snagged his bow and held it to his neck, returning my foot to his arm.
"Damn, you can fight."
"Don't doubt me."
"I didn't."
"Sure."
"You gonna let me go?"
"No."
"You're making me fight you to get out of this?"
"You implied you could fight, show me."
"I was taking it easy before kid."
"Then don't."
He went to move but I took my free hand and punched him square in the nose, knocking him out and sending him backwards into the cement. He couldn't fight for shit.
