Angsty Teen || Teddy Lupin

I've asked my girlfriend Y/N to come round today, I just want to see her. Not that I'd admit it but I've been feeling kind of down recently, just in my room listening to rock music, the room almost pitch black.

I think my dad is slightly worried for me, my uncle too.

I'm hoping that Y/N will lift my spirits... I love her. A lot. I haven't told her that yet but I think I will today. God I hate feelings. I've been told at school that I 'am too angsty to feel anything'.

Anyway I'm really glad she's coming over, I'm sure I'll feel better once she's here.

*teeny tiny time skip*

She's here. I rush to the door, almost tripping down the entire flight of stairs.

"Holy moly, calm down Teddy. I know she's cute but you don't need to break every bone in your body" my Uncle Sirius remarks.
"Whatever padfoot! I just wanna see my girlfriend..." I mumble.

I slowly tread down the rest of the stairs and swing the door open.

There she is. Her. Her captivating E/C eyes. Her beautiful H/L, H/C hair. Her. She takes about one step into the house as I engulf her in a hug.

"Teddy it's only been a week since I last saw you..." she chuckles.
"That's a week too long" I reply.
"Ok you two, you can't stand in the doorway forever" I hear my father say.
"We can try" Y/N retorts.

My father and my uncle laugh as I reluctantly let go. I instantly grab Y/N's hand and rag her upstairs to my room.

"Don't have too much fun you two!" Sirius yells.
I'm about to respond as Y/N shouts back, "Can't promise anything!"

God I love this girl.

She darts across the hall, towards my room and into the void of darkness.

"Jeez Teddy, you need some light. Lumos." she advises.

Her wand creates a dim glow as she struggles to find the switch to the red fairy lights she'd bought me a year prior. I remember when she gave me them, she said they were for when I 'needed darkness but not too much'. She quickly finds the switch and turns them on.

"That's better." she smiles.

I follow after her and plop down onto my bed. We just lay there for a while in silence. Enjoying each others company.

"Can we play some music?" my beauty asks.
"Play whatever you want my love."

She sits up, grabbing her phone, playing our playlist. The first song that comes on is 'Mr Doctor Man' by Palaye Royale.

She grins and starts to hum along. I simply smile as I just watch her bob her head to the song. This continues for about five minutes until she turns her head and looks at me.

"What ya starin' at Teddy?" she asks playfully.
"You." I reply bluntly.
"Why?" she chuckles.
"I'm not exactly the prettiest thing to look at." she says as she looks down into her lap.
"How on earth could you say that?! You are literally the most beautiful, stunning person in the entire world." I argue.
"Calm down Teddy bear... your hairs turning bright red." she beams.
"Well then maybe you shouldn't say that kind of sh-", she glares at me, "-stuff about yourself then..." I trail off.
"You're the cutest wizard ever Teddy Lupin" she emphasises.
"Have you looked in a mirror?" I rapidly respond.
"I have but no-one is as cute as you. Because otherwise I wouldn't call you teddy bear" she states.
"That's cute but annoying..." I trail off.

She swings her leg across my body and straddles me as she says, "How dare you say that teddy bear!"

The song changes to 'I Wanna Be Yours' by Arctic Monkeys.

Y/N lays back down and wraps her arms around my torso. I place a gentle kiss upon her foreheads as she looks up at me.

"I love you Teddy" she hums.
"I love you too Y/N" I reveal.

She looks up and kisses me. It's soft but there's a growing passion within it. She crawls on top of me, straddling me once again, never breaking the kiss. Wrapping my arms around her waist, I pull her body closer to mine. She works her hands into my hair, lightly tugging on it as she deepens the kiss. My hands brush over her waist, where her t-shirt has lifted slightly. This caused her to gasp, give me the opportunity to slip my tongue into her mouth. She doesn't flinch, simply joins the battle for dominance. The song is unable to drown out the low moans escaping from my mouth.I sit up as a slow creak can be heard.

"Ugh-hum" someone, not so subtly, coughs.

Y/N jumps off of me and tumbles to the floor. Two very distinct, very familiar chuckles come from the direction of the door.

"You two look like you were having fun..." my dad remarks, trying not to laugh.
"Ok Dad... I get it." I groan.
"Wow nice song, I'm glad to know I'm not the only angsty teen out there" Sirius shouts from behind the door.

I can feel my face turn pink entirely, already knowing my hair is matching the colour of my face.

"Careful Teddy, you're hair's turned dark pink" my father states matter-o-factly.
"Yeah Teddy. It's kinda cute..." Y/N giggles as she suddenly surfaces from her fall.

I peep over the edge of the duvet, that I had burrowed under in embarrassment, to shoot a playful glare at my girlfriend.

"Well. I only wanted to ask you if you wanted something to eat. Seems you've already swallowed each other's tongues. I'll leave you two alone now then." my dad mocks.

This causes not only my cheeks to blush but also Y/N's. She buries her face in her hands and laughs awkwardly as my father finally closes the door, leaving us alone once again.

"Don't be too embarrassed Teddy bear. Just be glad they didn't catch us any further along." my angel chuckles.
"Get back up here. I need comfort, I need my hair to change back."

She jumps back onto the bed and instantly wraps her arms around me, nuzzling her face into my neck.

"I love you Y/N. I really do." I state as I kiss her forehead.
She glances up at me and smiles, "I really love you too Teddy. Your hairs gone back to normal by the way"

This girl is mine and I wouldn't change her for the world.
