Secret || Thomas Brodie- Sangster

Flash. Flash. Flash.
Camera flashes blind me from every angle as I sit patiently, waiting for the interviewer to pick someone to ask a question. I just smile and try to look at as many cameras as I can whilst still making sure i'm giving the interview enough attention. I also manage to smile and wave at a few fans before the first question is asked.

"Did you take anything from the set? If so what?" a giddy fan asked quickly.
"I'm not sure I did..."
"You took the jacket didn't you?" Dylan reminds me.
"Oh yeah. Yeah. I took Newt's jacket. Not that I really saw it once I got home." I chuckle.
"Didn't Y/N take it?" Ki Hong jumps in.
"Yeah she did." I smile at the thought of my girlfriend snatching the jacket from me as soon as I got home.

The interviewer points to another audience member and they hurry up to the mic ready ask their question.

"Speaking of Y/N, how did you guys cope with the long distance relationship?"
"I can answer this one," Dylan butts in, "They were on facetime to each other constantly. Every single second they could see each other's face they would use it. If they couldn't facetime, it would be a phone call if not that, at the very least a text. They didn't go an hour without speaking to each other."

I feel the heat rush to my cheeks as there is a light giggle from the audience accompanied by a chorus of 'awww'.

"Yes we did speak everyday. But she also came to set a few times which made it a lot easier." I respond.

A mixture of questions are asked, from 'What's you're favourite line in the movies?' or 'Have you read the books?' to more personal ones about our relationships. Then the ultimate relationship question is asked.

"Thomas, you and Y/N have been together for a long time now and you both seem really happy. So, are you planning to propose?" the fan smirks.

I stay silent for a while, grinning and lightly laughing before smirking.

"Well she's backstage so I can't disclose much but... That's a secret." I whisper.

The crowds erupts with screams and awws.

After that the interview ends and we all head backstage. We walk through the network of room and eventually I reach Y/N.

"I heard my name." she smiles as she wraps her arms around my neck.
"Just asking how long we'd been together and how we did the long distance thing," I lie, "Nothing I haven't been asked before"
"Ok love birds lets go." Dylan beckons us to the car.

Y/N instantly gets in the car while I stand still and place a hand in my pocket. I close my grasp on the small velvet box and smile to myself as I'm yelled at by my fellow cast mates.

It's a short one but I think that most of my updates are gonna be like this for the next few weeks. To anyone who has requested something I promise I will write it, it just may not be any time soon.
