"Leave me alone Rainn."

Rainn's P.O.V.
(May 22, 1953)

We walked to the side of the Curtis' house. I looked over at Pony, but his eyes were glued to the ground. As we walked pass, I saw Darry in the living room about to walk back to his room, "Hold on." I said walking to the other side of the house going to Soda and Pony's room. I looked inside seeing Soda asleep.

I slightly pushed the window to see if it was unlocked, and lucky for me it was. I pushed it open a little bit more so I could get in. You may be asking, why didn't you go through the front door? Well, this way seems more fun.

I boosted myself up, and crawled through the window. I pushed my legs through the window to make a safe landing, I promise I've done this before. I walked over to his side, shaking him violently. "WHAT TH-" I covered his mouth so Darry didn't come in here, "Hiya." He shook my hand away, "Are you crazy? What are you doing here?" I chuckled, "Thought it be more fun to come through the window. I wanted to let you know, I have Pony and Johnny over at my house and I didn't want you to worry. Goodnight."

I started to walk off, when Soda grabbed my wrist, "I never said I was sorry. I really am Rainn, I'm sorry for being an ass to you." He was half asleep so his grip was hard, not was his words very loud. I grinned, and bent down and kissed him on the cheek, "Thank you, goodnight." "Goodnight." He whispered.

I walked back over to the window jumping out, then closing it behind me. I walked back to the other side of the house, seeing Pony and Johnny standing there talking. "Come on, let's go." "Why did we need to stop?" "Needed to talk to someone." Was all I said. I turned the corner and in sight was my house.

Crossing the street, we walked along. It was a silent night, the only sounds were the trash flying around by the wind, and sometimes dogs barking and cat meowing. I looked up at the sky seeing stars shining. Then I looked back down when we got to Ben's house. "Wow, look at that big house right there." Pony said pointing to my house. "Dang, that would be awesome to live in." I heard Johnny add. "I'm glad you say that kid, because that is my house."

I walked up the front steps and grabbed my keys out of my pocket. I looked over at Johnny, he was smiling bigger then I told him I got a house. Pony stood stunned. I chuckled and opened the door, then turning on the lights. "Come on in, take a look around." I said as Pony and Johnny walked off together.

I closed the door locking it, "Rainn, you have a study?" "Wow this place is huge." I smiled, "Johnny let me show you you're room." He walked over to me, I pointed up the stairs then walked that way. "My room is back at the end of the hall, but yours is right," I paused walking to the first door on the right, "here." I opened the door, turning on the light to show the bed room. There was a small walk in closet to the right of the room, and that connects to the bathroom. A medium sized window a crossed from the door, the bed was to the left of that.

His smiled glowed, then he turned around to look at me, "I can't believe this is happening." I chuckled, "Go through that door over there." I pointed to the closet, as he opened it he looked at my confused, "Turn on the light, and look straight ahead." He did as I said, seeing the door. I stepped in the bedroom and watched him open the door leading to the bathroom, "Woah, that's so cool."

"Tomorrow I need to go shopping for some more things around that house. Maybe we can get some new things for you, clothes, and other things that might tie the room together." He nodded. I started to yawn, "As much fun this is, I'm going to bed. Pony you can sleep down stairs or in here, there are more blankets and things over on Johnny's bed. Goodnight." I walked over to my room, going straight into bed.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I've left my damn car over at the Curtis'. I slapped my forehead, whatever I'll get in the morning, I have a race tomorrow anyways.
