Rainn's  P.O.V.

I groaned as I keep moving around trying to get the knots lose. I took a quick pause and look around the room, trying to get my breath back. The walls were stone, and mold growing in the cracks. The ceiling was not even there, it was beams the held the first floor. There was one light that was spotlight over me. There was a table straight in front of me. All there was on the table was a cardboard box, but I couldn't see what was in it.

My eye flooded with tears and I looked down at my lap.

Darry's P.O.V.

I wiped my hands as I walked out to the living room where Pony, Two, and Johnny all sat watching the Monday afternoon cartoons. I sat down in my chair and unfolded the new paper. I started reading but then go distracted as Pony and Two started wrestling.

"Pony! Two! Take it outside!" I yell over them yelling at each other.

Then Steve and Soda walked inside, "Darry, have you seen Rainn anywhere?" I look up at Soda, him standing there with his arms crossed.

"Yeah, have you seen her? I need her help with something." Johnny chimed in.

"Rainn is not here?" Pony asked.

"Okay! Enough. Guys, I have to tell you guys something," I paused and folded the paper and put it on the table next to me, "Rainn had to leave last night. She told me not to tell you guys, so don't worry about it, she'll be back in no time."

Everyone stayed still, till Johnny stood up, "How long is she going to be gone?"

I rubbed my forehead and looked down at the floor, "I don't know little buddy."

I breathed low in hopes no one else would ask any questions. Thank god no one did.

Soda's P.O.V.

My eyes slowly make their way around the people in the living room. It seems that having Rainn not here makes an impact on everything, but since no one knew where she went or when she was going to be back also added to the problem. I remember some of me and Rainn's conversations, her seeming off, and me noticing it and asking her about it but her never actually answering the question. It kind of makes me worry but at the same time, this is Rainn we are talking about, she's one tuff girl.

Rainn's P.O.V.

It started all over again; the yelling, the fighting back; everything that happened at home that i ran away from. I wanted to be safe and I wanted to get it together, but everything was so still, life it self I mean. The room was spinning, and a slight ringing sound that pitched in my ear. I could feel the blood running down from my nose, and the weakness in all my bones. Even sitting down was causing problems.

I couldn't really hear due to the gun shots that he pulled next to both ears. My eyes were very heavy, I knew things were getting close to an end. I knew one more blow to the head would knock me cold. I started to remember all the good times, all the last memories.

Have you ever heard that on your last seconds of life, you basically get a slideshow of everything that you once did? Well that's how everything that playing out now.

I ran around the front yard with Princess right by my side. It was raining that day, mom told us to stay inside but Princess never really liked to listen, she was one to do the unexpected. The whole reason that I too didn't listen to mom was because of what Princess told me.
